Hanoi implements Data Law

Kinhtedothi - On February 19, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Plan No. 50/KH-UBND on implementing the Data Law.

Accordingly, the Plan aims to specifically define the work content, deadline, completion progress and responsibilities of relevant agencies, units and organizations in implementing the Data Law. At the same time, it determines the responsibilities and coordination mechanisms between departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in implementing the Data Law throughout the city. Raising awareness of the Data Law and the responsibilities of all levels, branches and localities in implementing the Law.

Implementation content: Propagating, disseminating, and educating the law on data. In-depth training, fostering legal knowledge, professional skills in building, developing, protecting, managing, processing, and using data. Providing documents for the dissemination of the Law and legal documents detailing and guiding its implementation; training documents, fostering professional skills in building, developing, protecting, managing, processing, and using data according to the guidance of the Ministry of Public Security.

Along with that, review legal documents. Participate in giving comments on legal documents detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law and other relevant documents. Deploy administrative documents serving the implementation of the Central Law. Ensure conditions on infrastructure, techniques and technology in the implementation of the Law.

Focus on synchronously and effectively implementing the collection, updating and synchronization of data into the national database and ensuring the provision of technical infrastructure and information technology infrastructure of the National Data Center for state agencies. Inspect the implementation of the Law and legal documents detailing and guiding implementation at the local level.

The City People's Committee assigns heads of departments, branches, sectors, unions, agencies and organizations under the City, Chairmen of People's Committees of districts and towns, to be responsible for implementing this Plan. Based on the content of the Plan and the practical situation, relevant departments, branches, sectors, unions, agencies, People's Committees of districts and towns, develop detailed plans to implement the Law within the scope of management of their agencies, units and localities.

In addition, the City People's Committee requires ensuring unified direction from the Central to the local level; close, regular and effective coordination between departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns and relevant agencies and organizations in the province in implementing the Law. The content of the work must be associated with the responsibility and leading role of the City Police in coordinating with departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns and relevant agencies and organizations. The heads of agencies, organizations and units assigned with the task of proactively implementing the Plan on schedule, ensuring consistency, quality, practicality and effectiveness.
