Kinhtedothi - On March 21, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 1013/UBND-SNV on the implementation of Directive No. 41-CT/TW dated December 26, 2024 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership over emulation and reward work in the new situation for the period 2025 - 2030.

Accordingly, the City People's Committee requested units to implement the contents well.

Specifically, regarding propaganda work: it is necessary to continue to propagate Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation, the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, especially the 2022 Law on Emulation and Commendation. Propaganda of emulation movements, typical examples, good people, good deeds, to solve key issues and difficulties of localities and units, and contribute to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.

Strengthen the role and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities and leaders in leading and directing emulation and reward work. Heads of agencies and units must directly lead, have specific plans, regularly inspect, monitor and evaluate emulation and reward results to promote socio-economic development and protect the Fatherland.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city and socio-political organizations, and authorities at all levels need to closely coordinate in directing and implementing the emulation movement, ensuring effectiveness, practicality, and avoiding formality. The emulation movement must have a clear theme, specific criteria, and be regularly inspected and monitored. It is necessary to promptly reward outstanding individuals and groups, and at the same time encourage the replication of advanced models to promote the patriotic emulation movement, focusing on people, businesses, and workers.

Along with that, improve the quality of commendation work. The consideration and awarding of emulation titles and commendation must be based on the outstanding results of the collective and individuals in performing their tasks, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, publicity, objectivity and the right person, right job.

In addition, promote the work of discovering, fostering, propagating and replicating advanced models, good people and good deeds in emulation movements. Strengthen the propaganda work on advanced models, good people and good deeds. Rewards and propaganda need to be carried out promptly and typical models in emulation movements should be replicated.

Strengthening State management in emulation and rewards. Promoting the application of information technology, digital transformation, and reforming administrative procedures in the reward process. Ensuring transparent and convenient emulation and timely resolution of complaints and denunciations.

Continue to strengthen the organizational structure; enhance the role and responsibility of the Emulation and Reward Councils at all levels, agencies and standing departments of the Emulation and Reward Council to ensure that emulation work is effectively implemented.
