Hanoi announces sample exam questions for 10th grade admission in 2025

On August 29, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the format structure and sample exam questions for public 10th grade admission in 2025, built according to the 2018 general education program.

According to the leader of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the format structure of the sample test is the basis for building a question bank and test questions for the 10th grade entrance exam according to the 2018 general education program.

The 2024-2025 school year is the first year that 9th graders studying the 2018 general education program will take the transfer exam. With the published sample exam questions, schools can apply the exam format structure of each subject to create test questions, and have a plan to guide students to review right from the beginning of the new school year so that students are not surprised by the changes in the 10th grade entrance exam.

Hanoi is one of the localities with the number of students applying for grade 10 every year is about 100,000 students. Meanwhile, the enrollment quota for public schools is only about 60% of students. Therefore, this is a competition with a lot of pressure for schools, students and parents. The early announcement of the sample exam is to support students in preparing for the upcoming exam.
