Rescue 5 people trapped in fire

At 10:50 p.m. on March 19, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hai Duong Provincial Police received a fire report at the house of Mr. Bui Xuan Truong (born in 1996) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (born in 1999), in Van village, Minh Duc commune, Tu Ky district, Hai Duong province. Ms. Linh rented the house from Mr. Tran Ba ​​Cong (born in 1989) from February 28, 2025 to live.

Immediately after receiving the fire alarm, the authorities deployed fire fighting and rescue work.

Realizing that there were people trapped in the fire, the authorities approached and successfully rescued 2 women and 3 children trapped in the bathroom on the 2nd floor of the house, and quickly deployed fire fighting and prevention activities.

The 5 victims were transferred by the Fire Police and Rescue Force to an ambulance of Tu Ky District Medical Center and taken to Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital for health monitoring.

Authorities directly visited the victim.

By 11:30 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished. Currently, the victims are conscious and are still being monitored at Hai Duong General Hospital and Hai Duong Children's Hospital.

Currently, the investigation into the cause of the fire and damage statistics are still being carried out by the authorities and handled according to the provisions of law.
