(Dan Tri) - When the person who hired him to look after and raise pigs during Tet agreed, Mr. Cuong's family took a bus from Kien Giang to Hanoi. However, when he arrived, he could not contact the person who hired him.
On February 5, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that at around 11:00 a.m. on February 2, the family of Pham Quoc Cuong (born in 1985), in Chau Thanh District, Kien Giang Province, tiredly went to the Quang Xuong Traffic Police Station to ask for help from officers and soldiers of the Thanh Hoa Traffic Police Department.
Through the traffic police's inquiry, it was learned that before the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, his family learned that in Hanoi there was someone who needed to hire someone to look after and raise pigs during Tet for 1 million VND/day, and if they did well, they would be hired for 15 million VND/month.
After contacting and agreeing to accept the job, Mr. Cuong's family of 5 took a bus to Hanoi. However, when he arrived, he could not contact the employer.
Because it was close to Tet, unable to find another job and having no money left, Mr. Cuong's family had a hard time hitchhiking from Hanoi back to Kien Giang.
From January 22 to about 11am on February 2, Cuong's family returned to Thanh Hoa.
Upon learning of Mr. Cuong's family situation, Quang Xuong Traffic Police Station called on officers and soldiers to raise nearly 8 million VND to support his family with travel expenses, and also sent a bus for his family to return home safely.
