Nearly 15,000 applications for issuing and exchanging driving licenses have been received by Hanoi Traffic Police.

On March 21, the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that from March 1 to March 19, the Road Motor Vehicle Driving License Examination and Renewal Team received and processed nearly 15,000 applications; of which 7,646 applications were submitted online via the National Public Service Portal.

With the spirit of serving the people as the top priority, many units are willing to work overtime to meet the needs of issuing and exchanging driving licenses, without interruption or disruption; without affecting the normal operations of people and businesses.

Currently, the issuance and exchange of driving licenses are carried out directly or online. To avoid wasting time and facilitate administrative procedures, people who need to issue or exchange driving licenses should carry out the procedure online via the National Public Service Portal, address: https://dvc4.gplx.gov.vn/p/home/dvc-trang-chu.html.

According to regulations, if all procedures are completed properly, people will receive a physical driver's license after 7 working days. At the same time, the electronic driver's license is integrated into the electronic data system and electronic identification account within 3 working days.

Those who have completed the procedures, are waiting to issue or change their driving license, or have not yet received a physical driving license, when participating in traffic can present their driving license through the VNeID application and the traffic police will check and control through this application.

In case you are in the process of issuing or changing a driver's license, provide your ID number or old driver's license number (in PET material), the traffic police officer will look up the professional system to compare the information.

In case people have completed the procedures for issuing, exchanging, or reissuing a driver's license but have not been updated on the above application platforms due to insufficient time (3 working days), the traffic police will base on the appointment letter, photo, and information on the applications to determine.
