Promoting famous landmarks of Quang Binh using digital technology

The project aims to promote historical and cultural sites and destinations across the country, from Ha Giang to Ca Mau; create unique discovery experiences for visitors, support and promote tourism in localities as well as the whole country.

The project is implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with technology partners in provinces and cities across the country.

In Quang Binh, the project is implemented in 3 locations: Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Phong Nha town, Bo Trach district); Quang Binh Quan (Dong Hai ward, Dong Hoi city) and Lieu Hanh Holy Mother Temple (Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district), these are famous historical and cultural sites of Quang Binh province.

The NFC chip-mounted panels are designed in two colors, yellow and red, inspired by the Vietnamese national flag, and can operate automatically without a power source. When visitors come to the above locations, just use your phone to interact with the NFC chip-mounted panels to be certified as having checked-in at the location, save personal photos, and receive useful information about the location, monument or destination.

Each chip-embedded board will provide stories, images, videos, or 3D models of the location or monument where the chip-embedded board is located; at the same time, it provides search, navigation, and information features to explore tourist destinations at the current location and surrounding areas. When visitors experience all the NFC chip-embedded points, they will receive gifts from the program and a digital certificate upon completion of their exploration there.

Mr. Tran Minh Tuan, Head of the Project "Love Vietnam", Phygital Labs Joint Stock Company said. In the coming time, the Project will develop new challenge games for tourists to check-in, as well as optimize features to serve tourism such as: guiding, supporting the flow of visitors to other locations when a location is too crowded; informing tourists about important events in localities... The Project will also standardize the content to translate into other languages, contributing to promoting and introducing Vietnamese tourism to the world.

“The use of this NFC chip board will be one of the tools to help Quang Binh province implement its digital transformation strategy, combining official information and data with technology and creative ideas to promote more vividly and effectively historical and cultural events and local tourism products,” a representative of Nhan Dan Newspaper hopes.
