Displaying more than 500 artifacts on the theme "95 years under the glorious Party flag"

On the afternoon of March 25, at the Hue City Cinema and Cultural Center, the Hue City Department of Culture and Sports held the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition "95 years under the glorious Party flag" and "50-year imprints - Hue rises to a new era of development" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation Day (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025).

Director of Hue City Department of Culture and Sports Phan Thanh Hai emphasized that the exhibition contributes to reviewing the proud history and outstanding achievements of Hue City in sustainable development in the period of integration and innovation.

The Organizing Committee hopes that each image and artifact on display will help visitors recall the heroic memories and noble sacrifices of previous generations.

At the same time, the exhibition contributes to educating the young generation about patriotism, training the spirit of striving to excel in studying, worthy of being useful citizens for society, future owners of the country in the new era - the era of national advancement.

Thematic exhibition introduces to the public and visitors more than 500 images, documents and artifacts.

In addition to the images, the exhibition introduces valuable artifacts about the great contributions and dedication of the army and people of Hue in the two long resistance wars such as backpacks, oil lamps, defense shirts, document cases along with weapons such as arrows, knives, grenades...

In particular, the H12 rocket launcher was equipped for Company 14, Regiment 4, Tri Thien Military Region. The Liberation Army soldiers used this rocket launcher to attack Pho Lai base, Phong Son commune, Phong Dien district on March 8, 1975, opening the general offensive and uprising in Spring 1975, liberating Hue.

The exhibition also introduces images of the potential, resources and strengths of Hue city in the 50-year process of stepping into a new era of development, gradually affirming its position as a national center of culture, tourism, specialized healthcare, education and training, science and technology.

In addition, the area displaying typical products of Hue city introduces local handicrafts and OCOP products, export items such as textiles, fibers, weaving, industrial wood, ceramic tiles, seafood, rubber...

This is an important cultural event, not only to commemorate and pay tribute to the noble sacrifices of previous generations, but also to honor the achievements that Hue city has achieved in the past 50 years under the leadership and direction of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Party Committee, the government and the efforts of all the people of Hue city./.
