Meeting to celebrate Vietnam Social Work Day 2025

On the afternoon of March 25, the Provincial Social Work Center organized a celebration of Vietnam Social Work Day.

In 2016, the Prime Minister chose March 25th of each year as “Vietnam Social Work Day”. Since then, March 25th has become a day to honor the noble values ​​and humanistic significance of the social work profession, recognizing the role and contributions of social workers in participating in solving problems of individuals, families, communities, and society, contributing to ensuring human rights, fairness, social progress and happiness of the people.

Promoting that pride, in recent years, Vinh Phuc Social Work Center has effectively performed its assigned functions and tasks, focusing on two areas: providing social work services to people in need and managing, caring for, and nurturing social protection beneficiaries. In addition, the Center has implemented care services and life skills training for mentally disturbed and autistic subjects who voluntarily need it.

At the Conference, delegates discussed and shared experiences in the field of social work activities with the care, support and assistance of social protection subjects, social work in hospitals to continuously perform well the function and task of assisting the disadvantaged. This year's Vietnam Social Work Day with the theme "Vietnam Social Work - Innovation, Connection and Professionalism" is a condition for more effective implementation of social work activities in a comprehensive and professional manner in the coming time.
