On March 1, the Hanoi Department of Tourism organized the 2025 Friendship Spring Tour program at the Hai Ba Trung Temple Special National Monument Complex and the flower growing village of Me Linh district.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong attended the program.
The program attracted 400 delegates including: 15 Ambassadors and their spouses and nearly 200 diplomatic officers at embassies, representatives of international organizations and foreign non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.
Delegates attending the program visited and experienced activities such as: Experiencing Me Linh flower growing village; offering incense, visiting, listening to introduction about Hai Ba Trung Temple Special National Monument; planting souvenir trees; experiencing local traditional culture such as making immortal flowers, making gio cakes, making lotus tea...
Hai Ba Trung Temple was ranked as a special national historical relic in 2013, marking the heroic history of the nation and an attractive spiritual destination. This place attracts many tourists from all over to visit, worship and learn about the two national heroines Trung Trac and Trung Nhi. The image of Hai Ba Trung has become a symbol of patriotism and the indomitable will of women in the history of the Vietnamese nation.
Me Linh flower growing village - the largest flower granary of Hanoi capital. Flower growing has been a profession for people in Ha Loi village, Me Linh commune (Me Linh, Hanoi) for more than 20 years. Me Linh land is most suitable for growing varieties of roses, chrysanthemums, peonies, lilies, trumpet lilies, peonies, gladiolus... But the most popular are still roses of all kinds, velvet roses, red roses, yellow roses, Italian roses, French roses, Dutch roses... The flowers here have bright, diverse and eye-catching colors that attract any tourist.

According to Chairman of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations Nguyen Ngoc Ky, the Friendship Spring Tour Program is an opportunity for the capital's tourism industry to introduce Vietnamese culture to foreign friends living in Vietnam. This is also an opportunity to meet and exchange cultures to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the Vietnamese people and international friends. The program aims to bring international friends many interesting experiences about the unique cultural values and hospitality of the people of Hanoi as well as the Vietnamese people, at the same time, opening up new cooperation opportunities with Me Linh district in the near future.
Talking about the significance of the trip for international tourists in general and embassies in Vietnam in particular, Ms. Khampao Ernthavanh, Ambassador of Laos to Vietnam, said that the trip helped her understand more about the traditional culture and friendly people of Vietnam.
On behalf of the international delegates participating in the program, Moroccan Ambassador to Vietnam Jamale Chouaibi expressed his gratitude for the attention of Hanoi City leaders to people-to-people diplomacy, and to international friends working and living in the capital. Ms. Jamale Chouaibi highly appreciated the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations, Hanoi Department of Tourism, leaders and people of Me Linh district for organizing and welcoming them warmly, expressing her belief that the current peaceful and friendly activities have, are and will contribute to making Vietnam have a bright future and a worthy position in the hearts of international friends.
Also within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee sent congratulations and presented gifts to female Ambassadors and their spouses on the occasion of International Women's Day, March 8.
