According to the submission of the City's National Assembly Delegation, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, National Assembly delegate of the Hanoi Delegation was nominated to be elected as Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation.
After voting to finalize the election list, the delegates conducted a secret ballot to elect the Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi city.
As a result, 100% of the delegates present elected comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai as Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi city, term 2021-2026.
Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed her honor at being elected by the National Assembly delegates with high confidence to hold the position of Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi city.
He emphasized that the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation is a very special delegation as General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has been a National Assembly delegate for 22 years.
“With respect, deep gratitude, and infinite sorrow for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong - a lifelong representative for the country and the people, I vow to continuously study and follow the moral example and style of Ho Chi Minh, following the bright example of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to strive to overcome all difficulties and hardships, and successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party and the people,” affirmed the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.
He said that this is a great honor but also a very heavy responsibility in the face of high demands for Party building and ensuring national defense and security of a city that is the political, economic, cultural center and heart of the whole country.
The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee said he will make every effort, closely coordinate with the delegation leaders and National Assembly deputies, uphold principles, promote exemplary vanguard spirit, and perform tasks according to the working regulations of National Assembly deputies and the city's National Assembly delegation.
“I will strive with the leadership of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation to fully and comprehensively perform the tasks prescribed by the Constitution and laws in the direction of continuing to innovate and improve the quality of participation in law-making, voter contact activities before and after the session, and strengthen the urging of settlement in conjunction with monitoring the responsibilities of organizations and individuals with the authority to resolve petitions, complaints, denunciations, and recommendations on issues related to the legitimate rights and interests of voters and people,” emphasized Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai.
The Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation hopes and requests that National Assembly deputies, National Assembly agencies, central ministries, departments, branches and city agencies help him complete his assigned tasks.
