Peach, Pho and Piano return to theaters to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory

Previously, answering Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Ly Phuong Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Cinema - said that after three months of release, the film Dao, Pho and Piano broke even when it earned 20.8 billion VND.

Also showing Peach, Pho and Piano this time are the film Rose Squad (produced by People's Army Cinema, 2021) and two documentaries Memories of the Fire-Breakers (People's Army Cinema, 2019), Accompanying History (Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio Company Limited, 2024).

The film week is hosted by the Department of Cinema, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province and related units, taking place from April 24 to 27 in Dien Bien Phu city (Dien Bien province).

The opening ceremony of the film week will take place on the evening of April 24 at Dien Bien Phu cinema.

Many viewers are curious about the fate of Dao, pho and piano after leaving the theater.

On this occasion, the department will also organize two exchange sessions between artists of two film crews ( Dao, Pho and Piano and Rose Squad ) with officers, soldiers, teachers, and students in the area...

It is known that at the opening ceremony of the film week, the Department of Cinema will display some documentary photos of Vietnamese revolutionary cinema participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign at the Dien Bien Phu cinema hall.

The Department of Cinema will also present the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum with documentary photos of the documentary film crew and photographers participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign on this occasion.

The Department of Cinema informed that, towards the film series celebrating the holidays of April 30, May 1, May 7, and May 19 this year, the department has prepared films to print and send to Cinema Centers, Film Distribution Centers and Screening Centers in 63 provinces and cities.

The selected films include: feature film Dien Bien Memories ; documentary Dien Bien Phu (produced in 1954), Dien Bien Phu Victory (produced in 1964), Finding Childhood Through Folk Games ; animated films Angry Green Forest , Super Naughty Old Lady .

Peach, pho and piano are not included in this list.
