On March 13, a source from Tuoi Tre Online reported that Gia Lai Provincial Police had made an initial investigation report into the case of intentional injury involving a staff member of Kon Thup Commune Health Station, Mang Yang District, who was gang-assaulted.
Previously, public opinion was stirred up when a video from a security camera showing several men assaulting a female employee of Kon Thup Commune Health Station was discovered and spread online.
According to Gia Lai Provincial Police, on the afternoon of February 11, Kon Thup Commune Police received a report of an assault on a medical staff member at the commune health station.

Immediately upon receiving the report, Kon Thup Commune Police and Mang Yang District Police coordinated with the District People's Procuracy and relevant agencies to conduct a crime scene investigation and seize evidence. Focus on investigating and clarifying the cause of the incident and the subjects involved.
Through investigation, it was determined that at around 6:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Nguyen Le (50 years old) was taken by his younger brother Nguyen Van Le (41 years old) and son Nguyen Minh Hung (19 years old) to Kon Thup Commune Health Station for first aid for a head injury caused by falling down the stairs.
Here, Mr. Le received first aid from the station chief, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Quan (40 years old) and the station's medical staff, Ms. Luong Thi Thuy Tuyet (53 years old), but the wound was not stitched.
When Mr. Le suggested stitching Mr. Le's wound, Ms. Tuyen replied that if he wanted to stitch his wound, she should go to Mang Yang district. From there, the two sides had a conflict that led to a fight. Ms. Tuyet used a sandal to hit the three people, but was hit in the head, face, and chest by Mr. Le and Mr. Le.
The incident caused Ms. Tuyet to suffer head and face injuries and chest trauma, requiring treatment at Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital and Military Hospital 211.
After being beaten, Ms. Tuyet told her husband, Cao Ly Vinh Quy. Angry, Mr. Quy went to meet the three people above and the fight continued. According to the police, Mr. Quy used a hammer to hit Mr. Le and Mr. Le in the head and shoulders; while Mr. Le used a wooden stick to hit Mr. Quy in the arm and head.
As a result, Mr. Le suffered a traumatic brain injury and had to be treated at Dak Lak General Hospital. Mr. Le suffered head and shoulder injuries and was treated at Gia Lai General Hospital. Mr. Quy suffered a broken left arm.
Gia Lai Provincial Police said that the Investigation Police Agency is urgently investigating and consolidating evidence to handle those involved according to the law.
