This evening (December 13), the leader of Yen My District Police (Hung Yen Province) said that the authorities are investigating the cause of the bodies of three father and sons found in the Bac Hung Hai River.

According to this person, about a week ago, the family reported that Mr. TVC (born in 1997, residing in Giai Pham commune, Yen My district) took his two children and left home without returning. The commune police force coordinated with local authorities and people to search for him.

Yesterday, people found Mr. C's body floating on the Bac Hung Hai River.

No signs of external force were found on Mr. C's body, so the police are inclined to believe that the victim committed suicide with his children in a moment of despair.

This morning, the bodies of Mr. C's two daughters, Tran Ninh A (4 years old) and Tran Quynh A (nearly 2 years old) were found.

“Mr. C. got married early, and his wife was still very young. Some time ago, he and his wife had a conflict, so she went back to her mother’s house, leaving him to take care of their two young daughters. Recently, Mr. C. has shown signs of depression. He has told his family many times about his negative actions. Perhaps due to psychological factors and unresolved family conflicts, Mr. C. took his children to the river and committed suicide,” the leader of Yen My District Police gave an initial assessment.
