7 Lam Dong artists were awarded the Medal for the cause of Literature and Arts of Vietnamese Ethnic Minorities

(LĐ online) - The Vietnam Ethnic Minority Literature and Arts Association in Lam Dong has just organized the awarding of the Medal for the cause of literature and arts of Vietnam's ethnic minorities by the Central Association to 7 members.

The members who were awarded the Medal have been members of the Central Association for 13-20 years and have made many contributions to the activities, creations, and promotion of Vietnamese ethnic minority literature and arts. Specifically, they are writers, poets, musicians, and folk literature researchers: Tran Ngoc Trac, Nong Quy Quy, Diep Vy, Vu Nguyen, Tran Thang, K'Thieu, and K'Rajan Plin.

Awarding the Medal for the cause of literature and arts of ethnic minorities in Vietnam to artists

Currently, the Vietnam Ethnic Minority Literature and Arts Association in Lam Dong has 11 members. The association has coordinated with other majors, actively participated in association activities, went on field trips to create, exchanged professional knowledge; actively composed hundreds of quality works of literature, music, painting, folk literature... published in Lang Bian Magazine and a number of other specialized books, newspapers, and magazines.

Speaking at the ceremony, poet Nguyen Thanh Hong - Chairman of Lam Dong Literature and Arts Association acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the Association and its members in building the Association; actively researching and creating many works of art, vividly reflecting the ethnic minority areas in the province; especially ethnic minority artists have had many good and realistic works, vividly reflecting the lives of their ethnic people.

The Chairman of Lam Dong Literature and Arts Association hopes that in the coming time, the Vietnam Ethnic Minority Literature and Arts Association in Lam Dong will accompany the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to promote the development of members, gather many members who are ethnic minorities, members who write about ethnic groups and mountainous areas so that the Association can continuously grow. Continue to innovate the content and form of organizing activities; propagate, encourage and motivate members to actively create and produce many quality works of art, especially works on the topic of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.

On this occasion, the Association elected 6 delegates to attend the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Association of Ethnic Minorities Literature and Arts (term 2025 - 2030), held in April 2025 in Hanoi.
