In a recent appearance on "The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast," Ivanka Trump, daughter of US President-elect Donald Trump, shared her personal experiences during her first term as well as her plans for Mr. Trump's upcoming term.

Ivanka served as a senior adviser for four years in the first Trump administration and is preparing to assist her father for the next four years, but likely in a different capacity.

Speaking to Lauryn Evarts Bosstick and Michael Bosstick, the hosts of the aforementioned podcast, Ivanka Trump said: "The US presidency is the loneliest position in the world. You have to make so many decisions every day. There are so many people you deal with every day."

"You know, your best friends, they're all passionate about something and they want to spend a little time with you and sell you something that they think is good and positive and helpful for the country and the world. So it's a very lonely position. I thought about it a lot during the first four years of my term, but now I'm keeping a certain distance from it," Ivanka added.

"Maybe, right now, I just want to come and be with him like a daughter. Just be there with him, help him get his mind off things, sit and watch a movie with him or watch a sports match, help him relax, let him be himself, know that he is my father, in the most intimate way as his daughter," Ivanka expressed.

Jared Kushner, Ivanka's husband, was also a senior advisor to Mr. Trump during his first term, but at that time, this position caused a lot of controversy.

President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in for a second term on January 20, becoming only the second person in US history to serve two non-consecutive terms.

When he returns to the White House this time, Mr. Trump will have to focus on addressing the agenda that voters frequently raised during the 2024 election campaign, such as immigration, the economy and foreign affairs.
