CMC Telecom received full set of Uptime certificates for Design, Construction, Operation
On August 15, 2024, CMC Telecom became the first unit in Vietnam to have a data center that possesses all 3 certificates of Design, Construction and Operation after officially receiving Tier III certificate of Sustainable Operation (TCOS) from Uptime Institute.
After 8 months of completing infrastructure, upgrading management processes and preparing more than 100 processes, CMC Telecom's Tan Thuan Data Center (DC) standard documents have passed 89 standards according to the global Uptime assessment framework, achieved the Sustainable Operation certificate on August 7, 2024 and was awarded the certificate from Uptime at 3:00 p.m. on August 15, 2024 at the headquarters in Hanoi.

Speaking at the Uptime certification ceremony, Mr. Pho Duc Kien - Deputy General Director, Operations Director of CMC Telecom, shared: “ The human factor in operations is the foundation for CMC Telecom to continuously succeed on the journey to conquer international certifications. Also at the certification ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Hieu - Director of Data Center CMC Telecom, one of the first 3 Vietnamese to own the CDCE certificate, also emphasized the human factor in operation: “ Achieving the first Uptime TCOS (Tier Certification of Operational Sustainability) certificate in Vietnam is a challenging and proud journey, affirming the position and capacity of data centers in Vietnam and the significance of training staff so that they can operate the system according to international standards.
