TPO - In 2025, Banking Academy plans to recruit 45% of its target based on high school graduation exam scores, a 5% decrease compared to last year.

Banking Academy has just announced its expected enrollment plan for 2025. Accordingly, the school will enroll about 3,600 students, an increase of more than 100 compared to last year.

Admission methods remain stable, including: direct admission, based on high school academic results (20%), international certificates (15%), results of competency assessment exams (20%), and high school graduation exam scores (45%).

With direct admission, in addition to candidates who won first, second, or third prizes in national or international science and technology competitions for excellent students, the school will consider direct admission of candidates with disabilities, ethnic minorities with very few people, candidates from poor districts, foreigners, etc. based on their high school academic results.

In the high school transcript review method, candidates need to have good academic performance in grade 12, with an average score of three years of each subject in the admission group of 8 or higher.

When calculating admission scores, for standard and international joint programs, common subjects between groups are multiplied by a factor of 2. For high-quality programs, Math and English in the group are multiplied by a factor of 2.

Candidates will be awarded priority points according to the Ministry's regulations, along with incentive points from 0.5 to 1.5 if they win an incentive prize for national excellent students, provincial prizes, or specialized students. Candidates in many categories can accumulate incentive points, but the maximum is 2 points.

The above method of calculating admission scores is also applied to the method of considering high school graduation exam scores. However, candidates using this method will not receive bonus points.

Banking Academy continues to consider international certificates. Candidates applying through this method must have excellent academic performance in grade 12, an average score of 8 or higher in three years of high school for each subject in the group, and have a SAT certificate of 1,200, IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT of 72 or higher.

In which, the requirement of academic transcript is a condition. Admission score will be calculated based on certificate score.

With the method based on competency assessment exams, Banking Academy uses the V-SAT university entrance exam scores and the Hanoi National University's competency assessment exam (HSA). Candidates can apply if they achieve an HSA score of 85 or higher, and a V-SAT score of three subjects in a group of 300 or higher.

Admission scores for all methods are converted to a 30-point scale according to the formula specified by the school.

Last year, the benchmark score based on high school graduation exam results was the highest for Economic Law with 28.13 points.

For the group on a 30-point scale, the admission score ranges from 25.6 to 28.13. The highest score is for Economic Law - 28.13, an increase of 1.63 points compared to last year. At this level, on average, each subject candidate must achieve more than 9 points to pass.

Many other majors take over 26 points such as: International Business, Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Banking, Digital Banking, Investment Economics, Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The lowest is International Business Administration - 23.

For the group considered on a scale of 40 (Math subject multiplied by coefficient 2), Finance has the highest admission score - 34.2, with an average of 8.5 points per subject.

Previously, many universities also announced their 2025 enrollment plans with reduced enrollment targets based on high school graduation exam scores compared to last year.
