With the mission of providing treatment opportunities and changing the lives of poor patients with congenital disabilities, the program "Wings of Dreams" has truly created miracles.
Over the past 11 years, the program has helped more than 1,000 patients, performed nearly 300 surgeries and provided support for more than 10 different disease groups.
In 2025, the program will continue to take place in March 2025 at Hong Ngoc General Hospital, opening up new opportunities for hopeful lives.

“Wings of Dreams” is an annual charity surgery activity of Hong Ngoc General Hospital, in collaboration with international non-governmental organizations specializing in medical and social humanitarian support.
In March 2025, from March 7 to 23, the Hospital will cooperate with NUOY (USA), bringing nearly 30 international experts to Vietnam to examine and consult patients participating in this charity surgery program.
This year's program marks 11 consecutive years of providing life-changing opportunities to poor patients with congenital disabilities or those suffering severe sequelae from trauma.
The program is expected to examine more than 100 patients, focusing on treating malformations and sequelae of the head, limbs and chest, including malformations such as small ears, missing ear flaps, hand and foot malformations, as well as maxillofacial problems such as cleft lip and palate, malocclusion and chest malformations caused by accidents or after mastectomy.
Throughout its journey, “Wings of Dreams” has been a bridge connecting leading doctors in the fields of Plastic Surgery, Ear - Maxillofacial Surgery, Breast Reconstructive Surgery with a team of experienced doctors at Hong Ngoc General Hospital.
Experts will directly provide free consultation, helping patients access the most advanced surgical methods and choose the appropriate treatment method. In particular, many patients in difficult circumstances will have their surgery costs fully sponsored, giving them the opportunity to change their lives.
The program not only provides physical healing but also gives hope to young patients who have had to live with inferiority complex for a long time. A typical case is Mai Thi Hien Hoa (born 2004, Hai Phong).
An orphan growing up at Hoa Phuong Orphanage, Hien Hoa has a complete cleft lip and palate, which makes it very difficult for her to eat and communicate. Despite having undergone four previous surgeries, her face still has many severe sequelae.
However, thanks to the program "Wings of Dreams", Hien Hoa had jaw surgery to improve her eating function and aesthetics.
Her foster mother, Ms. Khanh, emotionally shared: "When the bandage was removed, I took a picture of my child and sent it to the mothers in the Village. Everyone was surprised to see such a dramatic change in my child. We are truly grateful to the hospital and the doctors for covering all the costs of the surgery."
Another case is Nguyen Quy Thanh Nhan (2008, Vinh Phuc), who was born with a deformed ear and a flat left side of his face. Daily activities and communication are difficult, and Thanh Nhan had to undergo 3 surgeries at Hong Ngoc Hospital from 2022 to 2024.
During this charity event, I continued to be examined by doctors and prepared for fat grafting and rib cartilage grafting surgery.
Prof. Phuong Nguyen, Medical Director of Nuoy Reconstructive International, shared that Hong Ngoc Hospital is a reliable partner, always meeting international standards in infection control, surgical procedures and post-operative care. This cooperation helps ensure the success of each charity surgery.
According to Dr. Nguyen Nguyet Nha, Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Hong Ngoc General Hospital, cooperation with international experts helps Hong Ngoc's team of doctors access the most advanced treatment technologies.
This not only improves our professional qualifications but also helps us master modern technical methods, bringing the best treatment results to patients, even in complex cases."
The “Wings of Dreams” program continues to be a combination of advanced medicine and compassion, bringing new hope to unfortunate young patients. It is not just surgeries, but also the belief in a brighter future, no longer bound by congenital defects.
With the close cooperation between Hong Ngoc General Hospital and NUOY Organization, the opportunities for healing and sustainable development of the healthcare industry in Vietnam will continue to expand.
