On November 27, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc organized a specialized information conference for the fourth quarter of 2024 in a combination of direct and online formats to 401 connecting points with more than 20,500 delegates from the entire Party Committee of the Bloc attending.
Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung presented the topic "Some major policies of the Party on digital transformation in the new era, the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise".
At the Conference, delegates listened to reporters inform about two topics: "Some major policies of the Party on digital transformation in the new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise" presented by Party Central Committee member, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung; and "Revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period according to Regulation 144-QD/TW dated May 9, 2024 of the Politburo, focusing on "Exemplary implementation of revolutionary ethical standards in the new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise" presented by Mr. Doan Van Bau, Director of the Department of Political Theory, Central Propaganda Department. Speaking at the Conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Lai Xuan Lam stated that these are two important, practical and very meaningful topics in the context of Party committees at all levels, departments, ministries and branches striving to successfully implement the goals and targets of 2024 and accelerate and make breakthroughs to complete the goals and targets set by the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, the Party Committee of the Bloc and the 13th National Party Congress, in order to be ready and prepare the best conditions to continue to develop the country firmly in the new era.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc stated that in his closing speech at the 13th Party Central Committee Conference on November 25, General Secretary To Lam stated: The Central Committee has high consensus on awareness and determination to implement the policy of summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently"; some suggested contents and orientations for Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units to study and propose streamlining the apparatus of the political system. The Central Committee requires and determines that the highest political determination in implementing the policy of the Central Committee on summarizing Resolution No. 18 is a particularly important task, a revolution in streamlining and organizing the apparatus of the political system, requiring high consensus on awareness and action throughout the Party and the entire political system. Therefore, strengthening digital transformation and seriously and voluntarily implementing the revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period according to Regulation 144 of the 13th Politburo is extremely important, contributing significantly to raising awareness and unifying the actions of cadres and party members in general and cadres and party members of the Party Committee of the Bloc in particular; helping each cadre and party member self-adjust their behavior at work; clearly seeing their responsibilities, striving and cultivating for the goal of building the Party and the administrative apparatus to be increasingly "streamlined - compact - strong - efficient - effective - efficient".

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc emphasized that after this Conference, the subordinate Party Committees, especially the heads of Party Committees at all levels, need to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's policies and the General Secretary's guiding viewpoints on the basic contents of the new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. In addition, continue to strictly implement the Regulations of the 13th Politburo on ethical and revolutionary standards of cadres and party members in the new period in conjunction with the Plan of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc and the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2025. The subordinate Party Committees focus on propagating major and key policies from now until the 14th National Party Congress according to Instruction 168-HD/TW, dated September 23, 2024 of the Central Propaganda Department in conjunction with propagating achievements and results of implementing resolutions of Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Bloc Party Committee and Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress to cadres, party members and employees in central agencies to strengthen the belief of cadres, party members and employees in central agencies on the path to socialism, the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam towards the political system and the country; create solidarity and high consensus in the entire Party Committee of the Bloc. For each cadre, party member, civil servant, public employee and worker in the entire Party Committee of the Bloc, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc emphasized the need to continue to strongly arouse the spirit of patriotism, solidarity, self-reliance, self-strengthening, national pride, and the desire to contribute to overcome challenges and successfully complete assigned tasks; make the practice of thrift and anti-waste a self-conscious, regular and continuous awareness. Along with that, it is necessary to strongly innovate working style and manners towards science and professionalism; proactively participate in digital transformation, enhance the application of information technology and digital transformation in Party activities; strengthen self-training and fostering, especially for the requirements of digital transformation in professional implementation. The cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Party Committee of the Bloc have studied, proactively and actively advised on the construction of a streamlined organizational apparatus in accordance with the direction of the Central Committee and the General Secretary with the spirit of "running and lining up at the same time" to create an important premise to bring the country into a new era; there needs to be solidarity, courage and even sacrifice of personal interests for the common good.
