Early admission starts in April
In 2024, Vietnam Aviation Academy plans to enroll 3,530 students for 11 full-time university majors. The new major expected to open this year is international business.
The Academy continues to maintain stable admission methods as in 2023, including: early admission and admission based on high school graduation exam scores. Of which, early admission includes 5 methods: priority for admission of excellent students; priority for admission based on international English certificates (IELTS); admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam; admission based on high school academic results and direct admission.
Admission time for different methods, specifically: priority admission method, considering academic records, considering scores of Hanoi National University's capacity assessment exam, round 1 from April 8-30. As for the method of considering scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam, candidates register for the exam and register their wishes at the Ho Chi Minh City National University's portal from April to June.
As for the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, candidates must register according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
During the early admission period, Vietnam Aviation Academy announced that it will only accept applications online. Candidates register for admission, pay fees and track admission results online.

Some special regulations on admission
Vietnam Aviation Academy announces some special regulations that candidates need to pay attention to when applying.
Specifically, each time registering online, candidates can only choose 1 admission method. In case of registering for multiple methods at the same time, candidates can register multiple times. Candidates register according to each training level, they are not allowed to choose the same university and college admission majors and vice versa.
The school considers the admission order from highest to lowest (first choice is the highest). Candidates are only admitted to the highest choice in the list of registered choices.
Candidates are allowed to register for multiple admission rounds and methods, each method allows them to register for multiple wishes. However, in each method, candidates are only admitted to the highest wish in the list of registered wishes.
In case a candidate registers for multiple methods in the same period, Vietnam Aviation Academy will consider the methods in order. If the candidate has been admitted to any of the previous methods, the following methods will not be considered.
Vietnam Aviation Academy also stipulates that candidates who register for admission in many different rounds will be considered independently from each other. In case a candidate is admitted to 2 different majors from 2 different rounds, he/she can only choose 1 major to register on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training and enroll.
What is the tuition fee?
Vietnam Aviation Academy announces the tuition fee roadmap implemented according to Decree 81/2021 of the Government (on the mechanism for collecting and managing tuition fees for educational institutions in the national education system and policies on tuition exemption and reduction, support for learning costs; service prices in the field of education and training) and Decree 97/2023 of the Prime Minister amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 81.
Accordingly, the tuition fee for all regular university majors in the 2024 course of study in Vietnamese in the 2024-2025 academic year is expected to be 13.2 million VND/semester (15 credits), with a tuition fee increase of no more than 10% per year. For the English-taught program, the tuition fee for English courses at Vietnam Aviation Academy will be multiplied by a factor of 1.5 compared to the Vietnamese-taught program.
