Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai presented the decision to assign comrade Nguyen Manh Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Acting Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, until the position of Provincial Party Secretary is completed.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai affirmed that the Standing Secretariat commended, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in Ha Giang; believed that Acting Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Dung would join the collective of the Provincial Party Committee in solidarity, flexibility and creativity to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the ceremony to accept the new assignment, Acting Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Dung affirmed that he will continue to learn and improve in all aspects to meet the requirements of the task. Comrade Nguyen Manh Dung hopes to continue to receive attention and support from the Politburo, the Secretariat, leaders of the Party Building Committees, central ministries, branches and localities.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Dung was born in 1973, hometown Nhan Khang commune, Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam province; has a Master's degree in Public Management, Bachelor of Science in Economics, Bachelor of Foreign Languages ​​majoring in English.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Dung has held the following positions: Deputy of the Central Office of the Youth Union; Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Student Association; Chief of the Central Office of the Youth Union; Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union (term IX; term X).

In April 2014, comrade Nguyen Manh Dung held the position of Standing Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the 10th term of the Youth Union. On November 28, 2017, he was transferred by the Secretariat to become Deputy Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee.
