On the evening of August 2, in Hanoi, the Artillery Corps organized an exchange with exemplary union officials and members.
This is a practical activity to welcome the 7th Congress of the Artillery Corps Trade Union, period 2023-2028. At the meeting, exemplary union officials and members of the Corps shared their experiences, good practices, and practical models, creating a mark in the workers' movement and trade union activities of the Corps in the period 2018-2023.

Over the past 5 years, the workers' movement and trade union activities in the Corps have been led and implemented comprehensively, with focus and key points by the Corps Party Committee and Party committees at all levels, always innovated and created, basically completing the targets and tasks of the 5-year Action Program 2018-2023, with tasks completed well and excellently. Among them, there have appeared exemplary collectives and individuals, many good practices, and creative models.

Over the years, the Artillery Officer School's Trade Union has been one of the typical strong trade union organizations.
Sharing good practices, Colonel Nguyen Thi Yen, Head of the Basic Science Department, a member of the Artillery Officers' School's grassroots union, said: "We are interested in building a team of union members with strong political will, love for the job, and are not afraid of difficulties or hardships. In addition, all activities are always associated with emulation movements. Many models are organized and implemented by the grassroots union in coordination with faculties and departments in the school, typically: "Scientific research and technical innovation teams and groups", "English Club", "Good lectures, good lessons"... have brought practical values, contributing greatly to the work. Through the activities and models, the grassroots union has directly contributed to improving professional qualifications, teaching quality, and gaining the trust of staff and students".

The 965 Workshop Union is a unit under the Corps Technical Department with the main task of the workshop being to research, produce, and repair weapons and equipment in the Corps' payroll to serve national defense missions.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cong Hoc, Chairman of the Union of Factory 965, emphasized: We focus on implementing the movement to promote initiatives and technical improvements launched by the Union. Union officials must be close to, encourage and motivate union members to be bold in thinking, creative in work and try to find better solutions in work at all positions.
Along with that, the Workshop Union Executive Committee proposed to the Workshop leaders and commanders to establish an "Initiative Support Team" as a place to receive creative ideas from union members; from here union members feel closer, easier, and bolder to present their ideas. After receiving creative ideas, the Initiative Support Team conducts objective discussions and evaluations, then supports the authors of the initiatives to perfect their ideas and develop them into innovative solutions to apply immediately to the production process."
With creative approaches, over the years, Factory 965 has had dozens of initiatives applied in the unit, creating motivation to spread the creativity of union members and workers.
Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Le Duc Hoe, Political Commissar of the Corps, highly appreciated the efforts and responsibilities of union officials and members at all levels for union activities in recent years. In the coming time, to continue promoting the effectiveness of the workers' movement and union activities, leaders and commanders at all levels need to strengthen leadership, direction, pay practical attention, and create favorable conditions for the workers' movement and union activities to operate in the right direction and effectively. He hoped that union officials and members would promote their professional capacity, sense of responsibility, and creative work to bring about higher efficiency in their work, contributing to the successful implementation of the Corps' political tasks in the new period.

At the meeting, the organizing committee awarded 17 outstanding individuals in trade union activities and workers' movements in the period 2018-2023.
