Bac Giang Newspaper awards the "Beauty of Bac Giang" Photo Contest 2023

At the meeting, representatives of Bac Giang Newspaper's leadership provided an overview of the province's outstanding achievements in socio-economic development in recent times; and the propaganda work of Bac Giang Newspaper in 2023. In particular, it was emphasized that the coordination between Bac Giang Newspaper and collaborators was well implemented, with many daily information in localities and bases promptly conveyed by collaborators on Bac Giang Newspaper's publications.

Many outstanding issues and new information reflected by collaborators were directed by the Editorial Board to coordinate with functional departments to study more deeply and promptly inform readers. On this occasion, Bac Giang Newspaper deployed the main content of special issues to welcome the New Year 2024 including: Lunar New Year Newspaper, Spring Giap Thin Newspaper and End of Tet Month Newspaper.

In order to contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of local political propaganda, in recent years, Bac Giang Newspaper has coordinated with departments, branches, and the Provincial Journalists Association to launch many press competitions. Particularly in the field of photography, the following competitions have been launched: "My hometown Bac Giang", "7 days to explore Tay Yen Tu"...

For the 2023 “Beauty of Bac Giang” photo contest, there were more than 200 entries from readers and photography enthusiasts. This is the year with the largest number of authors and entries in the contest, and the largest number of entries published in Bac Giang Newspaper publications (92 entries).

Through the contest, the image of the land and people of Bac Giang, friendly and hospitable; the potential, strengths and development achievements of the province in all fields to domestic and international friends, contributing to attracting investment, developing the economy and tourism of Bac Giang province.

The Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to author Vuong Lam with the work: "Phuc Hoa Early Lychee Growing Area (Tan Yen); awarded 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 10 Encouragement Prizes.
