Vinh Phuc currently has 178 products recognized as 3-star or higher OCOP products. Many OCOP products have developed well in the market and are favored by many consumers, such as: sweetened pasteurized fresh milk, Vinh Tuong purple sticky rice yogurt, drinking yogurt of Vinh Thinh Livestock and Dairy Processing Joint Stock Company; king oyster mushrooms of Phung Gia Mushroom Company Limited; wild flower honey, tacumin, cordyceps and royal jelly of Tam Dao Bee Joint Stock Company...
To promote the development of OCOP products, the province has issued mechanisms and policies to support the development of traditional, key and advantageous products in each locality such as: Plan No. 10416 to pilot the OCOP Program of the province in the period of 2018 - 2020; Decision No. 53 stipulating the level of support for the implementation of the OCOP Program of the province in the period of 2018 - 2020, Plan No. 189 to implement the Vinh Phuc OCOP Program in the period of 2021 - 2025, Decision No. 51 to support the implementation of the OCOP Program until 2025.
In the 2021 - 2025 period, Vinh Phuc plans to allocate 32.5 billion VND from the budget to directly support the implementation of the program; of which, the budget to support the subjects participating in the program is more than 18 billion VND. At the same time, the province will support the implementation of 8 - 10 mobile sales and introduction points in the centers of districts, markets, supermarkets, apartments, and tourist attractions in the area; organize participation in OCOP fairs in provinces and cities across the country to expand the market and increase the competitiveness of local products.
Promoting the advantages of climate, terrain, and soil suitable for agricultural development, Tam Dao district has focused on reviewing, selecting, and supporting the development of OCOP products. At the same time, orienting the construction of models for developing raw material areas associated with OCOP products according to the value chain, agricultural and rural tourism experience services.

Mr. Chu Van Sau - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tam Dao district said that the locality currently has 27 products recognized as meeting OCOP standards; of which, 7 products meet 4-star standards and 10 products meet 3-star standards. Many OCOP products have been welcomed by domestic and foreign consumers, and the revenue and profit of the subject have increased.
Typical examples include: Cordyceps mushroom (Tam Dao Mushroom Cooperative, Hop Chau town); Golden flower tea (Tam Dao Golden Flower Tea Co., Ltd. and Tan Dai Duong Co., Ltd.); products processed from cow's milk of Tam Dao Dairy Cooperative (Bo Ly commune); products from Morinda officinalis and Cordyceps of Minh Phuc An Co., Ltd. (Ho Son commune)...
Tam Dao Mushroom Cooperative, Hop Chau town, Tam Dao district is the unit that owns 9 products that meet 3-star and 4-star OCOP standards; 2 products are certified as typical rural industrial products of Vinh Phuc province. Currently, the Cooperative's products are present in almost all display and introduction points, famous tourist areas and spots in the area. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy - Director of Tam Dao Mushroom Cooperative said that the unit always puts product quality and customer benefits first. The cooperative always innovates technology, builds raw material areas according to chain links in many localities, and invests in designing suitable labels so that products can access the market well.
Implementing the OCOP Program, many localities of Lap Thach district have boldly converted many hilly areas of cassava and eucalyptus to red-fleshed dragon fruit. From being a trial crop, red-fleshed dragon fruit has now become a key crop in agricultural production in the area, bringing high economic value and stable income to the people.
Currently, Lap Thach has more than 320 hectares of red-fleshed dragon fruit, concentrated in the communes of Xuan Hoa, Van Truc, Quang Son, Hop Ly, and Ngoc My. With a yield of 15-20 tons/ha, the annual output reaches nearly 5,000 tons; the average profit is about 50 - 60 million VND/ha/year. Lap Thach's red-fleshed dragon fruit has been granted a growing area code by the Plant Protection Department with an area of 20 hectares. More than 38 hectares are VietGAP certified and the product is recognized as a 3-star OCOP product.

Aiming at the goal of developing branded OCOP products, following the value chain based on the advantages and potentials of the locality, Vinh Phuc province will promote propaganda, raise awareness of the community, people and subjects about the program; encourage, attract and support economic organizations to develop new products, products that contribute to preserving traditional culture, especially craft village products, rural tourism services and regional agricultural products. At the same time, the province also supports subjects to focus on improving product quality, promoting the application of science and technology, expanding production scale, connecting markets for consuming OCOP products.
