VNPT wins Security Bootcamp for 3 consecutive years

Continuing to become the champion at the Information Security Arena (ATTT) - Security Bootcamp 2023 has helped VNPT achieve a "hat trick" in this arena.

The Information Security Bootcamp was successfully held in Da Nang City under the sponsorship of the Information Security Department (Ministry of Information and Communications) and the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang. The event was organized by the Vietnam Internet Association (VIA) in coordination with other units. The two main contents of the program are the Information Security Arena and the Information Security Workshop.

This year's IT security arena has many innovations, more challenges and emotions. This year's exam was compiled by the Security Bootcamp community with topics on AI and IoT devices, keeping up with current IT security trends. This is also an opportunity for participating teams to compete and hone their professional skills.

With 21 teams including many strong opponents such as: Viettel, One Mount, MB Bank, Vietcombank..., VNPT's team continued to make a strong impression in the competition with a score of 5,350, surpassing strong teams from IT security enterprises, banks, universities... and bringing home the championship trophy for the third consecutive time.

GHTK, VPS Security and Duy Tan University Da Nang were the 3 teams that finished second and third with scores of 4,650, 4,600 and 3,950 respectively. After nearly 2 days of continuous competition, VNPT maintained its form throughout the competition, surpassing the other teams with a large score difference.

At the IT security seminar, with the purpose of exchanging and sharing knowledge, many presentations received the attention of experts. The presentation on the topic of machine learning "Improve Kubernetes security with Machine Learning" by Mr. Nguyen Hai Nam - Head of Big Data Analysis Group (ATTT Center under VNPT-IT) presented some ways to apply machine learning to enhance security for Kubernetes in the context of this platform becoming more and more popular. Machine learning is increasingly being widely applied, becoming a powerful support tool for information technology engineers.
