Vietnam enters global finals of Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025

Huawei ICT Competition 2024 - 2025 is an annual ICT competition organized by Huawei in collaboration with the ASEAN Foundation for students majoring in information technology at universities and academies around the world.

With the theme "Connect, Glory, Future" and the slogan "IC The Future", the competition aims to create an international competition and exchange platform for university and college students around the world, improving students' ICT knowledge and practical ability.

After surpassing more than 8,000 candidates in the national round, more than 110 outstanding students participated in the Asia-Pacific regional round held in Malaysia, competing in 4 diverse competition contents: Computing Track, Cloud Track, Network Track and Innovation Track.

The Vietnamese team won the Excellent prize at the competition.

In 5 hours, the students passed 2 challenging rounds of Written Exam (theory) and Lab Exam (practice), demonstrating in-depth knowledge and excellent practical skills in key areas such as Cloud, 5G, AI...

Representing Vietnam in the competition, 3 teams with the best students in the national round, demonstrated their talent and courage, surpassing 36 teams in the region, bringing home all 3 high awards.

Regarding the Computing Track, the team including students Mai Thi Phuong and Nguyen Tu Kien, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology; Duong Van Hiep, FPT University Hanoi, won the Excellent prize.

The Vietnamese team won second prize at the competition.

Regarding the Cloud Track content, the team including Bui Quoc An, Cryptography Engineering Academy; Dau Van Khoa, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and Tran Hai Dang; University of Technology, VNU-HCM won second prize.

Regarding the Network Track content, the team including Le Nhu Quynh and Dinh Hoang Anh, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology; Nguyen Le Hong Khanh, Hanoi University of Science and Technology won third prize.

With this resounding victory, the outstanding faces will continue to represent Vietnam in the global final round, competing with international students in 3 categories: Computing Track, Cloud Track, Network Track.

The program is scheduled to be held in May 2025 in China.
