FPT Jetking officially accepts the transfer of the International Microchip Design training program.
The semiconductor industry is considered the backbone of modern technology. However, the industry is facing a serious shortage of human resources, meeting only 20% of the annual recruitment demand (Source: here). In that context, the Indian Jetking Academy, with more than 77 years of experience in hardware and network security training, has developed a semiconductor design training program. This promises to solve the problem of human resource shortage in the face of the positive growth of the microchip industry. Understanding the importance of the microchip industry, FPT Education Organization has cooperated with Jetking Academy to bring international quality training programs to Vietnam. Thereby, expanding opportunities for young generations and technology enthusiasts through the FPT Jetking Training System. Mr. Harsh Bharwani - CEO of Jetking India shared: "To capture market trends, Jetking will deploy a microchip training program in India and cooperate with FPT to deploy it in Vietnam. We believe that India and Vietnam will become popular destinations for chip design and manufacturing, from there exporting to markets in America and Europe."Mr. Harsh Bharwani shared about the potential of Semiconductor Design industry at the Signing Ceremony.
With the desire to accelerate the training of human resources for the semiconductor industry, FPT Jetking signed a memorandum of understanding in Mumbai with Jetking Academy India to transfer international training programs and affirm mutual support in student training. Mr. Nguyen Khac Thanh shared: “Jetking not only has a reliable curriculum with advanced technology, but is also closely related to the industry. This is very important because it ensures that the knowledge and skills imparted are truly valuable in practice. With the cooperation of FPT and Jetking, we are confident that we can train a large number of experts for the market, contributing to the development of the semiconductor industry.”Mr. Nguyen Khac Thanh shared about the cooperation in training Semiconductor Circuit Design.
The signing ceremony between FPT Education Organization and Jetking Academy - India is not only an important milestone in the history of technology education in Vietnam, but also a solid stepping stone for the development of the semiconductor industry in the future.Mr. Harsh Bharwani - CEO of Jetking India, Mr. Le Truong Tung - Chairman of FPT University Council signed the cooperation agreement.
Realizing that the microchip industry needs to focus on systematic and in-depth knowledge, FPT Jetking has chosen the Semiconductor Microchip Design program from India to bring back to train in Vietnam. With the program at FPT Jetking, students will save study time because the training program lasts for 2 years and has high professional quality. Students can study directly in their major with up to 70% practice, combined with completing projects in each semester to consolidate knowledge and skills while studying. In addition, FPT Jetking also supports introducing and connecting students with leading companies throughout the internship period until finding a job, opening up wide career opportunities at home and abroad. FPT started researching the semiconductor sector 10 years ago. In 2023, the company received orders for 70 million chips in the period of 2024 - 2025 for customers in Taiwan (China), Korea and Japan in the field of medical equipment and many electronic applications. To prepare human resources for the new industry, FPT has participated in training in semiconductor technology, planning to add future practical engineers and semiconductor technicians at college levels, as well as cooperating with Jetking Academy to bring international quality training programs to Vietnam.FPT
