According to the draft standard for university and master's training programs on semiconductor microchips of the Ministry of Education and Training, there are 75 training majors serving human resources in the semiconductor industry.
The Ministry of Education and Training is currently developing a standard training program for the semiconductor industry at the undergraduate and master's levels. This will be the basis for units to implement training programs and develop a team of highly qualified human resources to serve the semiconductor industry in Vietnam. This activity is part of the process of implementing important decisions of the Prime Minister on the Strategy for developing the Vietnamese semiconductor industry to 2030, with a vision to 2050, as well as the Human Resource Development Program for the semiconductor industry.
According to the draft standard for university and master's training programs on semiconductor microcircuits of the Ministry of Education and Training, this standard program is built to apply to bachelor's, engineer's and master's degree programs specializing in semiconductor microcircuits. This program is built in accordance with the Vietnamese National Qualifications Framework. Accordingly, graduates will be awarded a bachelor's or engineer's degree level 6 or engineer's degree level 7 or master's degree in semiconductor microcircuits.

According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, based on receiving comments for completion, it is expected that the training program standards for semiconductor microchips at university and master's levels will be issued in March so that schools have a basis for building training programs.
