Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School has just announced its 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2024-2025 school year. Accordingly, the school's enrollment quota will increase sharply compared to the previous school year.


On the afternoon of March 1, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School announced its 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2024-2025 school year with a total enrollment target of 285 students, an increase of 80 students compared to the previous school year. Specifically, the school will enroll 180 students for 4 general classes and 105 students for 3 integrated classes.

The school's 10th grade entrance score in 2024 is different between regular and integrated classes.

Specifically, the integrated 10th grade entrance score is calculated on a 40-point scale. Including: Wish 1 (32 points); Wish 2 (32.5 points); Wish 3 (32.75 points).

Grade 10 benchmark scores are usually calculated on a 30-point scale. Including: Choice 1 (20 points); Choice 2 (21 points); Choice 3 (22 points).

The school's admission method is based on the results of the public 10th grade entrance exam organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training. The exam takes place on June 6-7 with the subjects: Math, Literature (120 minutes), Foreign Language (90 minutes). Candidates registering for specialized or integrated classes will take an additional specialized or integrated exam (150 minutes).

It is expected that the rate of junior high school graduates entering public grade 10 will reach at least 70%, an increase of 5% compared to last year. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training is coordinating with high schools to review facilities and teaching staff to determine appropriate enrollment targets.

The school's curriculum is designed in a modern direction, meeting the requirements of the 2018 general education program. General students will study 4 compulsory subjects (Literature, Mathematics, History, Foreign Language) and choose 4 additional elective subjects, including Information Technology and at least one subject from the Physics, Chemistry, Biology group.

Students in the integrated class will study 4 compulsory subjects and 4 fixed integrated subjects (Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology). In addition, the school also has optional foreign language classes such as German, Japanese, French, Chinese.

Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School was established in May 2024, separated from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted. The school has modern facilities with 32 classrooms, a dining area, boarding school, 2 large halls and sports fields (badminton, basketball, volleyball, pickleball).
