On November 22, Hue University concluded regarding the content of the accusation against Ms. Le Thi An H. - currently Head of the Scientific Research Department of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center.

Previously, Ms. Le Thi An H. was a graduate student in the 2013 course at the University of Sciences, Hue University.

On March 23, 2018, Ms. H. successfully defended her doctoral thesis at the Hue University's Doctoral Thesis Defense Council with the topic "History of Vietnam: The process of formation, development and transformation of royal festivals in Hue from 1802 to 1945".

After Ms. H.'s doctoral thesis was published, someone filed a complaint accusing her of using other people's ideas, not citing sources, and violating plagiarism.

After receiving the complaint, Hue University established an appraisal council to re-evaluate the PhD thesis of Ms. Le Thi An H.

Pursuant to the decision of the Director of Hue University promulgating the Regulations on academic integrity in master's and doctoral training at Hue University, the doctoral thesis in History (major: Vietnamese History, code: 62.22.03.13) of Ms. Le Thi An H. violated the plagiarism.

“The content of Ms. Le Thi An H.'s doctoral thesis has many paragraphs and ideas that use similar ideas and paragraphs to other authors' published works without the author citing the source. Accordingly, the plagiarism error is determined to be 12 pages,” part of Hue University's conclusion stated.

Based on the conclusion, Hue University also affirmed that the content of the complaint against Ms. H's doctoral thesis is correct.

The Director of Hue University requested the thesis author to seriously absorb and edit the contents pointed out in the conclusion of the denunciation and submit it for deposit according to current regulations.

The University of Sciences, Hue University presides over and coordinates with the Training and Student Affairs Department of Hue University to monitor and confirm the author's thesis revision according to the conclusion of the accusation.

In addition, Hue University proposed that the Minister of Education and Training establish a council to evaluate the content of Ms. Le Thi An H.'s doctoral thesis to resolve the matter according to its authority.
