The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province voluntarily retired early to create favorable conditions for the reorganization of the provincial apparatus.
On February 7, a source from the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee said that Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had asked to retire 3 years early, and Mr. Vo Hong Hai, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, had asked to retire 1 year early.
Mr. Le Ngoc Chau (59 years old), has a master's degree in Public Health, and has held many important positions such as Director of the Department of Health; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh City Party Committee. He was elected Vice Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee since the end of 2020.
Mr. Vo Hong Hai (61 years old), with a PhD in Cultural Studies, has held leadership positions such as Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Secretary of the Can Loc District Party Committee; Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee. Since November 2020, he has assumed the role of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department.
The Provincial Party Committee leaders highly appreciated and commended the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board for being exemplary and voluntarily retiring early to create favorable conditions for the arrangement of the provincial apparatus.
In addition, four key officials of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also applied for early retirement to implement the Central and provincial policies on streamlining the organizational apparatus, and agreeing on the project to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department to establish the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
According to the leader of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, these 4 officials include 2 deputy heads of departments, 1 department head and 1 deputy department head.
It is known that up to now, Ha Tinh province has had hundreds of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers apply for early retirement after the reorganization of district and commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period and the policy of streamlining the political system apparatus.
