Delegates attending the conference heard a summary report on the results of the appraisal of dossiers and the level of communes meeting new rural standards and communes basically meeting new rural standards in 2024 in the province; accordingly, the communes considered for recognition of meeting new rural standards and basically meeting new rural standards this time belong to the districts of Tuan Giao, Dien Bien Dong and Tua Chua.

Based on the review of the application documents and the results of the assessment of the implementation of 19 criteria in the National Criteria for New Rural Construction of the communes, the Assessment Council discussed and voted unanimously to recognize 3 communes including: Quai Cang, Quai Nua, Chieng Sinh, Tuan Giao district to meet the new rural standards; Chieng So, Phi Nhu communes, Dien Bien Dong district and Muong Dun commune, Tua Chua district to basically meet the new rural standards in 2024.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lo Van Cuong highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the members of the Appraisal Council; at the same time, requested the New Rural Area Coordination Office to promptly complete the dossier and submit it to the competent authority for decision./.
