Hanoi Art Fair: The Multi-Color Craft Village Festival organized by 12 artists and art studios in collaboration with the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam began this afternoon, March 26, in Hanoi, with the opening event being the "Multi-Color" Exhibition.

The exhibition brings together many names such as Minh Dam, Bui Thanh Viet Hung, Luc Thum, Mai Phan, Do Hien, Ngoc Phuong, Thu Huong Coco... who are no longer strangers in the art world. Each artist has their own style, their own world. Therefore, the exhibition brings diverse perspectives from many different materials such as: oil paint, watercolor, silk, acrylic, graphics, fountain pen...

The exhibition displays more than 300 works with familiar themes such as famous landscapes, characters, lotus, animals... creating an artistic picture imbued with the spirit of connecting heritage and contemporary creativity, at the same time, opening up many thoughts and emotions for the audience.

According to artist Minh Dam, Head of the Hanoi Art Fair Organizing Committee, the Art Fair model has been quite popular in some countries around the world such as France, Taiwan, and China. In Vietnam, the event is a pioneering step for this model. Here, in addition to enjoying contemplative drawings, the experience booths are arranged in an open space, providing an opportunity for visitors to talk directly with the artists and listen to the stories hidden behind each work.

“Hanoi Art Fair is a bridge between tradition and contemporary, bringing the public closer to art through familiar themes. Thereby promoting creativity and exploring each person's potential. Because in my opinion, anyone can draw and create, the important thing is what story you want to tell,” Mr. Minh shared.

In his opening speech, Mr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, emphasized the importance of art playgrounds such as Hanoi Hanoi Art Fair, where talented artists introduce their works to art lovers, and at the same time exchange and learn from previous generations.

“We hope that the special national relic of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam will accompany many artists and art spaces in the coming time to develop the Vietnamese art market and spread the national quintessence to international friends,” said Mr. Le Xuan Kieu.

Within the framework of the event, Hanoi Art Fair also organizes painting experiences, portrait sketching; embossing on plastic... to help the public have a deeper insight into the art world and experience the stages of creating a painting.

The exhibition lasts until March 31 at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, 58 Quoc Tu Giam Street, Dong Da, Hanoi.
