(BD) - On the afternoon of March 26, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan received and worked with Mr. Shovgi Mehdizada, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Vietnam; Kanat Tumysh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Vietnam; Kohdayar Marri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Vietnam and the delegation of the National Startup Association.

Also attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments and branches.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan introduced the province's potential, advantages and investment attraction orientation; at the same time, he hoped that countries would share their experiences and support the province in start-up and innovation projects, helping local businesses have more opportunities to access and develop because this is a field in which the province has little experience. The province is always ready to welcome quality start-up projects that bring practical results, not only from domestic partners but also from international partners.

At the meeting, the ambassadors expressed their impressions of the beautiful scenery and hospitality of Binh Dinh people, and thanked the provincial leaders for their warm welcome. The ambassadors said that this visit will open up many opportunities for investment cooperation between the countries and Binh Dinh, especially in the fields of startups and innovation. They also hope to promote links and alliances between regions of Binh Dinh and countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Pakistan.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that the province always appreciates and respects the contributions of experts and partners, considering them an important factor in promoting the start-up movement, innovation, as well as socio-economic development in Binh Dinh. He also expressed that not only Binh Dinh but also Vietnam in general, especially with international partners such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Pakistan, will open up many opportunities for investment cooperation in the coming time. Binh Dinh province is actively promoting investment projects and creating countless attractive opportunities for international investors. Therefore, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee encourages international partners with goodwill to soon start cooperation, because this is a favorable time when the province is attracting strong interest from large investors. The interest of international billionaires in Binh Dinh in recent times has proven that. On March 28, many famous billionaires will attend the Binh Dinh Investment Promotion Conference 2025, where memorandums of understanding will be signed, and investment projects will also be licensed and receive investment registration certificates.

The province is upgrading Phu Cat airport and expects to have direct international flights to Binh Dinh in early 2026.
