Ho Chi Minh City adjusts the routes of many bus routes

TPO - The Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center has just announced the temporary adjustment of many bus routes to serve the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

TPO - The Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center has just announced the temporary adjustment of many bus routes to serve the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center announced the adjustment of bus routes to ensure smooth traffic, creating favorable conditions for the organization of important events of the city.

The affected routes will be used for stage construction, grandstand installation, as well as organizing sports and parade activities, specifically:

From March 22 to May 12: Construction and installation of stands at 30/4 Park, Pasteur Street, Le Duan Street and surrounding areas.

From March 29 to March 30: Organize "Mass sports performance" activities on Le Duan and Pasteur streets.

From March 31 to May 12: Gather equipment for all items at 30/4 Park; construct technical items and assemble stands B and C of the logistics area; assemble the base block stands; assemble stand A and stand A tent on Pasteur Street (from Han Thuyen to Le Duan).

From April 17 to May 12: Organize preliminary rehearsals, general rehearsals, parades and marches on Le Duan Street and Paris Commune Roundabout.

Below is a list of bus routes affected and subject to temporary route adjustments:

Phase 1 (March 26, 2025 - March 29, 2025) includes routes: 4 (Ben Thanh - Cong Hoa - An Suong Bus Station route), route 31 (Ton Duc Thang University - Ben Thanh - Van Lang University), route 93 (Ben Thanh - New Eastern Bus Station), route 109 (Saigon Bus Station - Tan Son Nhat Airport), route 152 (Trung Son Residential Area - Ben Thanh - Tan Son Nhat Airport).

Phase 2 (March 29-30) includes bus routes: route 4 (Ben Thanh - Cong Hoa - An Suong Bus Station), route 18 (Ben Thanh - Hiep Thanh Market), route 31 (Ton Duc Thang University - Ben Thanh - Van Lang University); route 36 (Ben Thanh - Thoi An), route 52 (Ben Thanh - National University); route 93 (Ben Thanh - New Eastern Bus Station); route 109 (Saigon Bus Station - Tan Son Nhat Airport); route 152 (Trung Son Residential Area - Ben Thanh - Tan Son Nhat Airport); route 155 (Saigon Bus Station - City Theater).

Phase 3 (March 30) with bus routes: Route 4 (Ben Thanh - Cong Hoa - An Suong Bus Station), route 31 (Ton Duc Thang University - Ben Thanh - Van Lang University); route 93 (Ben Thanh - New Eastern Bus Station; route 109 (Saigon Bus Station - Tan Son Nhat Airport); bus route 152 (Trung Son Residential Area - Ben Thanh - Tan Son Nhat Airport).

Phase 4 (March 31 to April 16) includes bus routes: Route 4 (Ben Thanh - Cong Hoa - An Suong Bus Station); Route 31 (Ton Duc Thang University - Ben Thanh - Van Lang University); Route 93 (Ben Thanh - New Eastern Bus Station; Route 109 (Saigon Bus Station - Tan Son Nhat Airport); Bus Route 152 (Trung Son Residential Area - Ben Thanh - Tan Son Nhat Airport).

Phase 5 (April 17 - May 12) includes bus routes: Route 4 (Ben Thanh - Cong Hoa - An Suong Bus Station); Route 18 (Ben Thanh - Hiep Thanh Market); Route 19 (Ben Thanh - Linh Trung Export Processing Zone - National University); Route 30 (Tan Huong Market - National University); Route 31 (Ton Duc Thang University - Ben Thanh - Van Lang University); Route 36 (Ben Thanh - Thoi An); Route 45 (University of Economics - Ben Thanh - Mien Dong Bus Station); Route 93 (Ben Thanh - New Mien Dong Bus Station; Route 109 (Saigon Bus Station - Tan Son Nhat Airport); Bus Route 152 (Trung Son Residential Area - Ben Thanh - Tan Son Nhat Airport); Route 155 (Saigon Bus Station - City Theater).

“Passengers using buses during this time need to follow updated route information at bus stops, stations or on the website of the Public Transport Management Center. Drivers of personal vehicles need to reduce speed and comply with the instructions of the Traffic Police when moving through the event area,” the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center added.
