Specifically, the Center has cooperated to build tour programs with many preferential service packages, discounts, and free gifts. For example, when visiting and traveling to Hung Temple, Long Coc Tea Hill, Xuan Son National Park, Hung Lo Community Tourism Area..., tourists who book tours and services directly with businesses such as Long Coc Homestay, Saigon - Phu Tho Hotel, Muong Thanh Phu Tho Hotel... have the opportunity to receive a 20-50% discount on food and accommodation services; receive free vouchers to experience Xoan singing, stam duong, tea picking, making Hung Lo rice noodles, wrapping banh chung, pounding banh giay...

The number of tourists to the Land of Ancestors is expected to increase, so the provincial tourism sector has requested accommodation service businesses to prepare necessary conditions, renovate rooms and premises, ensure security, and be ready to welcome guests. Hotels and motels are committed to not increasing prices, publicly posting price lists at the reception desk and on the website, and increasing promotion on social networks. The sector also coordinates with relevant agencies to inspect, monitor, receive and handle feedback and recommendations via hotlines, ensuring the rights of tourists when participating in the program.
In Phu Tho, there are currently 381 accommodation establishments, including 50 hotels meeting 1-5 star standards and 331 motels that have been assessed as qualified to serve tourists.
Attracting tourists to explore cultural heritages
According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Phu Tho is the homeland of the Vietnamese people, with a long history of formation and development with many unique cultural heritages. Currently, the province has 967 relics, of which 323 historical-cultural relics are ranked by the State, 345 relics worshiping Hung Kings and figures of the Hung Kings period, 30 relics related to Xoan singing, 5 national treasures, 311 traditional festivals, 41 typical intangible cultural heritages with unique cultural features.
The province owns 3 UNESCO-recognized World Cultural Heritages: Xoan singing in Phu Tho, Hung King worship in Phu Tho and Ca Tru. Along with that, the province also has many famous historical, cultural and scenic sites such as the Hung Temple National Historical Site - a unique and extremely sacred cultural space of the Vietnamese people; Long Coc tea hill, My Thuan tea hill, Ao Chau lagoon, Van Hoi lagoon, Mo waterfall... which are beautiful natural landscapes in the midland.
Xuan Son National Park is one of 13 national parks in Vietnam with rich ecological diversity and high biodiversity; Thanh Thuy hot mineral water mine has large reserves of useful trace elements.
The locality also has many historical relics and beautiful landscapes such as Au Co Temple, Tam Giang Pagoda, Ao Gioi - Suoi Tien and many unique intangible cultural forms (such as Xoan singing, Gheo singing), festivals such as Phet - Hien Quan Festival, Rowing Festival - Bach Hac, Elephant Procession Festival - Dao Xa.
These cultural heritages and scenic spots are being preserved, conserved, developed and exploited effectively by the province. Deputy Director of Phu Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vu Thi Hoai Phuong informed that in recent years, the province has focused on mobilizing investment resources for tourism development; enhancing the value of tourist areas and spots, preserving and promoting the value of heritage, history and culture. Many potential and experienced investors in the tourism sector have invested in the province such as Muong Thanh Group, Saigontourist Corporation..., thanks to which the province has met the increasingly high service quality requirements, contributing to attracting international tourists.
Many large resort tourism projects such as Wyndham, Vuon Vua, Dao Ngoc Xanh, Bamboo Resort have just been completed and put into operation, creating highlights for local tourism. Some other projects such as Tien Cat Walking Street - Urban Residential Area of Song Hong Thu Do Group Joint Stock Company; Ecological Urban Area, Resort Tourism and Tam Nong Golf Course of T&T Group... are under construction and will contribute to attracting tourists to the Land of Ancestors.
The invested and connected transport system and developed tourism infrastructure have helped Phu Tho tourism become an attractive destination for tourists in recent years, especially during the Hung Kings' death anniversary. In 2024, the province welcomed 6.6 million visitors, including 830,000 overnight tourists and 10.6 thousand international visitors, up 7% and 19.6% respectively over the same period; tourism revenue reached 4.1 trillion VND, up 21.8% over the same period.
Phu Tho aims to become the leading developed province in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region by 2030, a cultural and festival center associated with the origins of the Vietnamese people.
