With the project “Love Vietnam”, historical and cultural sites in 63 provinces and cities across the country will be connected by technology, creating unique experiences for tourists. The project is implemented to preserve and promote cultural heritage values and support and promote tourism in localities.
At each selected location in the project, Nhan Dan Newspaper will install a board with an NFC chip. Visitors only need to use their phones to interact with the chip board to experience stories and images about the location and the province or city. At the same time, the interactive board also provides features for searching, navigating, and finding information to explore tourist destinations at the current location and neighboring areas.
In addition to providing information, each interactive point is also a community connection tool, allowing visitors to post personal photos and messages to the program "Love Vietnam", contributing to spreading love for the homeland and country.
In Yen Bai province, NFC chip panels are installed at three important historical and cultural sites including: Khau Pha Guerrilla Team Founding Site on Khau Pha Pass, Cao Pha Commune, Mu Cang Chai District; President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Nghia Lo Town and Dong Cuong Temple National Historical-Cultural Site, Dong Cuong Commune, Van Yen District.

Located at the top of Khau Pha Pass (Horn of Heaven), at an altitude of over 2,000m, the Khau Pha Guerrilla Team Founding Site covers an area of 2,100m2 , in Tong Khua village, Cao Pha commune, Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province. It is a national historical site to commemorate and pay tribute to the outstanding children of the H'Mong ethnic group who sacrificed themselves for the independence and freedom of the country, and is a "Red Address" to return to the source to educate the tradition for the younger generation.
Before 1945, the Khau Pha guerrilla team took advantage of the terrain and relied on the clouds and wind to fight the enemy on the pass, "appearing like ghosts and spirits" continuously intercepting French operations from Nghia Lo to Lai Chau, Lao Cai and vice versa with flintlock guns or stone traps, causing the French army to be terrified and respectfully call them "cloud warriors".
History records that during the years of operation from 1946 to 1952, the Team fought many battles, causing the French army many difficulties and losses. The Team both organized training and performed the task of guarding and protecting the people, protecting production at the top of the pass, relying on the rugged terrain of the mountains and forests, coordinating with the main force and local troops to bravely fight the enemy, achieving many outstanding feats.
In 2012, the place where Khau Pha Guerrilla Team was founded was recognized as a national historical site by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Meanwhile, the national historical-cultural relic Dong Cuong Temple, located in Ben Den village, Dong Cuong commune, Van Yen district, Yen Bai province, is one of the sacred temples along the Red River. This is the place to worship the Second Mother of the Upper Realm in the Vietnamese custom of worshiping the Mother of the Three Palaces.
In addition to worshiping the Second Mother of the Upper Realm, Dong Cuong Temple also worships the God of National Defense, which are local gods who contributed to the resistance against the Mongol-Nguyen invaders such as: Ha Dac, Ha Chuong, Ha Bong... who once led the people here to fight against the Mongol-Nguyen invaders and died in battle.
Dong Cuong Temple is a relic complex consisting of 4 points: In addition to the main temple, there are also Co Temple, Cau Temple and Duc Ong Temple located on the right bank of the Red River, opposite the main temple. The temple and the temple area are related to Ngoc Thap Temple and Hung Temple (Phu Tho). In the main temple, there is a forbidden palace worshiping two statues. Behind the mother palace is the princess palace, on the right is Son Trang palace, on the left is Tran Trieu. The temple structure also has a shrine to the gods and a cave to the mountain. This is an ancient temple that has preserved the national identity and cultural features of the Tay people of Khao Dong Cuong.
