The idea of a unique "Ha Giang Passport" was born from the wandering trips of To Thai Hung, a famous travel blogger. He shared: "Once when I went to Ha Giang with a friend, I suddenly thought that if each destination I passed by had a commemorative stamp, this trip would be much more meaningful."
The "Ha Giang Passport" was launched on February 1, 2025, priced at 30,000 VND, so that visitors can own a unique memory of their journey to explore Ha Giang.
From listing 15 typical destinations, designing each stamp with a strong local imprint, to connecting with partners in Ha Giang and testing in practice, everything was done meticulously and carefully.
How to use "Ha Giang Passport" is very simple
This project is not only the effort of To Thai Hung, but also the joint efforts of Win Di, another travel blogger, and a group of enthusiastic young people who have a deep love for Ha Giang. The support of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang province is also an important factor, helping the project receive support and assistance in terms of communication and connection.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc (a tourist from Hanoi) came to Ha Giang to see peach blossoms in spring. She shared: "I happened to see many clips on social networks, young people sharing about their experiences traveling to Ha Giang with a special passport. Looking at those images, I found this to be a very interesting activity and worth trying."
"The destinations to get the passport stamp, I found very majestic on the way. The most impressive was the ancient village of Pa Vi, because it shows the real scene of the people living here. I hope the State will preserve and conserve the current nature of Ha Giang, in the future it will attract more tourists to visit, especially foreign tourists" - Ms. Vo Ngoc Thanh Duyen (tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) expressed.

"Regarding the arrangement of destinations in the passport, I chose 15 typical locations of Ha Giang, evenly distributed on popular routes for convenient travel" - To Thai Hung, shared. This list includes iconic destinations such as Lung Cu Flagpole, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Pao's house, and places with strong cultural experiences such as Lung Tam linen weaving village, ethnic markets, and community homestays.
"The positive reception from the tourism community has given me a lot of motivation to continue my creative journey" - To Thai Hung shared. He has many plans for the future, including developing "travel passports" for other localities, creating themed "passports", building interactive maps or e-passport applications, and organizing offline activities related to "passports".
