Nhan Dan Newspaper implements the project "Love Vietnam" in Tuyen Quang

NFC (Near-Field Communications - wireless connection technology) chip boards were installed by Nhan Dan Newspaper at relic sites and tourist areas of Tuyen Quang province including: Tan Trao special national historical relic site; Kim Binh special national relic site and Tuyen Quang hydroelectric reservoir area in Na Hang-Lam Binh special national scenic area.

Interactive chip boards are installed at the memorial site of revolutionary predecessors located in the Tan Trao National Special Historical Relic Site.

The Tan Trao National Special Historical Relic Site in Tan Trao Commune, Son Duong District is part of the most important revolutionary historical relic system in the history of the Vietnamese nation in the 20th century. The relic site has 177 relics and relic clusters, where President Ho Chi Minh and the Central agencies lived and worked during the pre-uprising period and the resistance war against French colonialism, including typical relics such as: Hong Thai Communal House, Na Nua Relic Cluster, Tan Trao Communal House, Tan Trao banyan tree, etc.

The Kim Binh National Special Relic Site, in Kim Binh Commune, Chiem Hoa District, is where the Second National Congress of the Party took place. This was the first Congress of the Party held in the country and the only Congress held outside the capital Hanoi. It was a major event in the country's political life, marking the Party's remarkable growth.

The Na Hang-Lam Binh National Special Scenic Area was ranked as a special national monument by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1820/QD-TTg dated December 24, 2018. Tuyen Quang Hydropower Reservoir covers an area of ​​about 8,000 hectares of water surface with 99 majestic mountains. It has a charming landscape, preserving the pristine, majestic natural beauty, likened to "Ha Long Bay on land".

Visitors can review the places they have been to as well as information at those destinations. All images and messages will be collected and combined into a map of Vietnam with full images of all visitors from all over the country.

To check-in, visitors just need to place their smartphone with internet signal close to the NFC chip panel.

Ms. Trieu Thi Thanh Tu, tour guide of Tan Trao National Special Historical Site, said: "When visitors check-in at the NFC chip board, there will be a link to the website and display all the most essential information about the site. Along with that, on the phone, a serial number will appear showing how many people you are to check-in at this location and you can share moments, save impressions of the day, month, year you came here. This is also a very useful, convenient, and quick way to promote the tourism image of Tuyen Quang province in general and Tan Trao National Special Historical Site in particular to domestic and international friends."

Visitors can learn about the Tan Trao National Special Historical Site through an interactive NFC wireless connection station.

Each smart interactive station will provide data and images of the installed location, as well as provide search, navigation, and information features, helping visitors easily access locations and landmarks when visiting.

I found this technology very useful, helping me learn a lot of diverse information about tourist attractions and local dishes".

Applying technology helps increase the efficiency of management and exploitation of relic sites in Tuyen Quang province.

Mr. Vien Ngoc Tan, Deputy Director of Tuyen Quang Provincial Museum, said that the application of technology helps to increase the efficiency of management and exploitation of cultural works serving tourists when coming to the relic sites in the province. At the same time, it supports the work of educating and promoting the value of the relics to everyone in a lively and attractive way. In particular, it contributes to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

Mr. Tan also suggested that, through the operation of the project, it is very effective. He hopes that Nhan Dan Newspaper and its technology partners will continue to deploy the installation of NFC chip panels at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Tuyen Quang city, which won the "Asian Cityscape" award and Tuyen Quang Provincial Museum, where many artifacts about the life of Tuyen Quang residents in prehistoric times and many national cultural identities as well as the history of the struggle to protect the homeland of Tuyen Quang people through the ages are displayed and exhibited.

The project "Love Vietnam" of Nhan Dan Newspaper has been and is being implemented in provinces and cities across the country, expected to be completed before April 7 with 160 check-in points.
