Tourists spend nearly 30,000 billion VND in Hanoi

According to a report by the Hanoi Department of Tourism on March 25, tourism in the capital has been booming in both quantity and quality.

In the first three months of the year, Hanoi is estimated to welcome 7.3 million visitors, of which international visitors reached about 1.85 million (up 17.4% over the same period in 2024). Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND 29,930 billion.

In March 2025 alone, the number of tourists to Hanoi reached 2.61 million, of which international visitors accounted for 709,000. This was also the month with the highest tourism revenue in the first quarter, with nearly 11,000 billion VND.

Currently, Hanoi has more than 3,760 accommodation establishments with over 71,000 rooms in various segments. Room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments in the first quarter is estimated at 61.6%.

During the first three months of the year, especially during the Lunar New Year, Hanoi organized many attractive cultural and entertainment events to attract domestic and foreign tourists to the capital.

In the coming time, Hanoi will continue to launch new tourism products such as: experiential tourism associated with heritage values ​​- relics at Ha Mo tourist site (Dan Phuong district); the Nam Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Road tourist route (in Thanh Tri, Thuong Tin, Phu Xuyen districts); rural agricultural tourism model (Phuc Tho district).

In addition, annual events such as Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2025 and Hanoi Tourism Festival 2025 also promise to bring visitors many memorable experiences when coming to the capital.
