Donating 200 books about the activities of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac to Nguyen Dinh Chieu Library

Deputy Director of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Library Ho Duy Khanh received books donated by Dr. Nguyen Ton Phuong Du.

The above book is a research and compilation work of Dr. Nguyen Ton Phuong Du, just completed and published at the end of 2024, published by the National Political Publishing House Truth.

The book is 14.5 x 20.5cm in size, 95 pages thick, with 2 large chapters : Chapter I: Overview of the land and people of Ben Tre and the life, career, and journey to the South of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac; Chapter II: Life, career, and activities of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac in Ben Tre. There is also a conclusion and appendix.

According to the book's content, Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac - the father of President Ho Chi Minh was a man of noble character and patriotism. During the last 20 years of his life, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac traveled to many places in the six provinces of Nam Ky, including Ben Tre, a place he visited many times and also a place where he met Confucian scholars, monks and patriots .

Nguyen Sinh Sac is a shining example of integrity, perseverance, indomitability, and a lifetime of devotion to the country and the people. The places where he stopped to spread his patriotic ideology all became the starting points of extremely strong anti-French colonialist movements.

Therefore, it is very important to systematize the documents related to the activities of Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac, creating a basis for the next generation to better understand the portrait of a Confucian scholar who worked extremely actively to spread the spirit of patriotism to the masses and had a lot of influence in the Buddhist revival movement in the South, whose cradle was Ben Tre province. The book is currently available at Nguyen Dinh Chieu Library to widely serve interested readers.
