Ministry of Science and Technology accompanies businesses to promote breakthroughs

At the meeting, Mr. Dao Ngoc Chien, Director of the State Key Office, emphasized the role of digital technology enterprises in the development of science and technology in the country. The Ministry of Science and Technology always accompanies enterprises, especially private enterprises, with many support policies, creating conditions for Vietnamese technology products to reach the market.

Sharing at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Chairman of CMC Group, said: "The issuance of Resolution 57 has opened up many opportunities for digital technology enterprises. We hope that the Government will continue to have policies to support leading enterprises, creating conditions for the development of core technology and artificial intelligence (AI) built by Vietnamese people."

As one of the pioneering enterprises in the field of digital technology, at the 6th National Forum on Developing Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises on January 15, 2025, CMC committed to carrying out two key tasks, including:

Developing the CMC Cloud cloud computing platform to become the number 1 platform for Vietnamese people, mastering core technologies such as server virtualization, network and storage. It is expected that by 2028, CMC will invest in building the leading cloud computing center in the region with a capacity of 80MW, completely owned by Vietnam.

Deploying CMC Law Solution (CLS) software - a solution to support searching and reviewing legal document conflicts. This software acts as a virtual assistant for civil servants in searching and checking the legality of documents, while providing smart legal consulting services to people.

Mr. Dang Minh Tuan, Director of CMC ATI Technology Application Research Institute, said: In fact, CMC's CLS software has been supporting the National Assembly Office and the Ministry of Justice in reviewing legal documents. As of March 15, 2025, CLS has received 223 requests for support, issued 129 accounts and processed 65 conflict reviews. Meanwhile, at the Ministry of Justice, the software has also received 83 requests and issued 69 accounts.

Overview of the working session.

Regarding information security, Mr. Dang Tung Son, Strategy Director of CMC Corporation, emphasized that CMC Cloud not only provides a cloud computing platform, but also integrates a comprehensive security ecosystem. Designed according to the principle of "Security by Design", this system applies AI, Big Data, Zero Trust and CNAPP technology, helping businesses proactively prevent risks, instead of just reacting when incidents occur.

Implementing the commitment at the 6th Vietnam National Digital Technology Development Forum, currently 7 enterprises have issued action plans to implement the tasks committed at the Forum in the next three years. In particular, CMC is the pioneer enterprise with a detailed monthly implementation plan, directly monitored on the Ministry's software. The Department of Information Technology Industry is also building a national strategic industrial development program. It is expected that in the near future, the Ministry of Science and Technology will announce a list of strategic technologies, creating a foundation to support enterprises in researching, developing and mastering core technologies.
