Bac Kan still lacks more than 127 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025.

The Youth Union of Cao Tan Commune, Pac Nam District joins hands to help people eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

According to the current review results, Bac Kan province has 6,377 households living in temporary and dilapidated houses, of which 6,088 households are eligible for support and 369 households are not eligible for support. In 2025, 4,716/6,008 households will implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses and 1,292/6,008 households will not implement due to many objective and subjective reasons of the family. Currently, the province is continuing to mobilize households to implement.

According to the statistics of the funding needs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, a total of 4,716 households needing more than 261 billion VND for repair and renovation. With the support of the Central Government, the joint efforts and sharing of organizations, individuals and other provinces, the total resources identified and expected to be available are more than 208.6 billion VND. The remaining funding to support households to renovate and repair their houses is more than 127.4 billion VND.

In addition, Bac Kan also needs capital to support 1,292 households after they agree to remove temporary and dilapidated houses, which is 72 to 75 billion VND.

In order to be determined to achieve the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, creating conditions for poor and near-poor households to stabilize their lives and gradually develop their family economy, in the Letter calling for participation in supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Kan province hopes to receive support and contributions from agencies, units, enterprises, and philanthropists to support the construction of houses for poor households, near-poor households, and households with housing difficulties in the province./.
