Go Dau District Youth Union: Party discussion with youth

(BTNO) - On March 26, the Standing Committee of Go Dau District Youth Union organized a discussion on Party with youth - Youth with Party, with the theme "Work to create sources for Party development among young workers".

Attending were Mr. Tran Dang Tien - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Trinh Ngoc Phuong - Secretary of Go Dau District Party Committee.

At the seminar, the District Youth Union leaders informed the cadres and youth union members about the situation and results of the work of fostering, training and admitting party members for young workers in the past time.

Up to now, Go Dau district has 9 youth union organizations in non-state enterprises with 209 union members.

Union cadres discussed issues related to the work of creating sources for Party development among young workers.

At the discussion, delegates and grassroots union officials discussed difficulties and problems such as : young workers working in companies and factories (working overtime, changing shifts frequently) so it is very difficult to participate in union and association activities; consider opening classes on Party awareness in enterprises, the study time can be shorter to suit young workers; it is difficult to approach business owners in the district so it is necessary to be more proactive, arrange suitable time to gather young workers; promote union and association activities to attract workers...

The discussion is an opportunity for grassroots Youth Union cadres to propose and recommend to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union issues that are still inadequate in the work of creating sources for Party development among young workers in the district in the current situation.

Mr. Trinh Ngoc Phuong - Secretary of the District Party Committee spoke at the seminar.

Speaking at the discussion, Mr. Trinh Ngoc Phuong - Secretary of the District Party Committee acknowledged the opinions and recommendations of the Youth Union officials, and at the same time requested the district departments and branches to coordinate well with socio-political organizations and Youth Union chapters at all levels to effectively carry out the work of educating revolutionary ideals and lifestyle ethics for the young generation.
