The Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Party Committee of the PN-KB National Park Management Board, term 2020-2025, sets out 5 targets with 15 contents, of which the proposed orientation targets were basically completed, some contents and tasks exceeded the targets, contributing to promoting and preserving the World Natural Heritage of PN-KB National Park.
Identifying forest protection as the top priority task, in the past term, the Party Committee has directed and strictly implemented Directive No. 39-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on promoting the conservation and promotion of heritage values; completing the sustainable forest management plan; at the same time, organizing many campaigns to disseminate and educate the people about the law on forest protection, forest fire prevention and fighting, and biodiversity conservation. Thanks to that, the forest coverage rate is stable; the number of forestry law violations has decreased by 92% compared to the beginning of the term, of which the number of forestry law violations handled by the owner has decreased by 89.5%...
The Party Committee of the PN-KB National Park Management Board also pays much attention and focuses on leading the implementation of research and conservation of outstanding global values in geology, geomorphology and biodiversity. These are the important criteria that have helped PN-KB National Park to be twice listed as a world heritage site.

In addition, the Management Board of PN-KB National Park presided over the implementation of 4 provincial-level scientific research projects (exceeding the target of 2 provincial-level projects); coordinated the implementation of 3 provincial-level scientific research projects in the buffer zone and core zone communes of the National Park; 4 state-level scientific and technological tasks and many research and survey programs on caves and biodiversity; attracted 26 domestic and international research and film-making delegations to conduct scientific research and make films about PN-KB...
Investigation, survey programs and scientific-technological tasks at provincial and state levels have recorded 34 new caves with a length of 14km, bringing the total number of surveyed and measured caves in the core and buffer zones of PN-KB National Park to 447 caves with a length of over 246km. Seven additional species have been recorded in the list of flora and fauna of PN-KB National Park. One new species has been discovered for science, bringing the total number of newly discovered species for science to 47.
Rescue, care, conservation of wild animals and breeding and planting of forest plants have been well implemented. In particular, a biodiversity conservation facility has been established on an area of 28.8 hectares, which is an important legal basis for organizing breeding and conservation of species to serve scientific research, environmental education and ecotourism...
The Management Board of PN-KB National Park has focused on improving the quality, renovating, repairing, and upgrading infrastructure and adding equipment, tools, and instruments to the unit's tourism products and routes and putting into operation a number of new tourism services. During its term, the Management Board of PN-KB National Park has attracted investment and put into operation 5 new tourism products, exceeding the target by 66% (target of 2-3 routes and tourist destinations/term).
Tour operation, service style, guides and explanations have many positive changes towards professionalism. Rescue work, ensuring safety for tourists, security and order, environmental sanitation and food hygiene and safety are always focused on. PN-KB is considered by tourists as an attractive, safe, friendly and hospitable destination. In the 2020-2025 term, PN-KB National Park welcomed more than 2.67 million tourists, of which domestic tourists were more than 2.36 million; international tourists were more than 296,000. Total revenue at tourist routes and destinations in the area reached 985 billion VND.
Over the past 5 years, the Party Committee of the PN-KB National Park Management Board has strengthened its leadership and direction to expand cooperative relationships and effectively carry out international and domestic cooperation. Accordingly, it has signed memorandums of understanding with 4 foreign organizations and 4 domestic units; fulfilled its responsibilities as a member of the World Heritage Club in Vietnam and a member of the Vietnam National Parks Association; effectively participated in the network of wildlife rescue areas in Vietnam; maintained and developed bilateral cooperation with Hin Nam No National Park (Laos); proactively and actively supported and strongly promoted the processes of building and completing the dossier of the Hin Nam No and PN-KB inter-border World Natural Heritage; Well implement the procedures for registering to join the green list, the process of building a nomination dossier for the PN-KB world biosphere reserve to achieve IUCN Green List certification in 2025 and achieve the title of UNESCO world biosphere reserve in 2026...

The implementation of research, study, dissemination and propaganda of Directive No. 05-CT/TW, Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, the whole-term topics, the topics of the Provincial Party Committee and the regulations on setting examples were seriously carried out by the Party Committee of the PN-KB National Park Management Board, becoming an important and regular task of the Party organization, cadres and Party members...
