Many activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day in Tri Ton district

The 2025 Olympic Run for Public Health is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025); 79 years since Uncle Ho wrote the article "Physical exercise and health" calling on people to exercise (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025).

This year's Olympic Running Day attracted nearly 600 athletes from agencies, departments, organizations, schools, police, military and businesses in Tri Ton district; distance of 1km, through Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia and Dien Bien Phu streets. This activity contributes to promoting the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho". At the same time, building Olympic Running Day into an annual traditional activity, gradually creating a habit of regular physical exercise and sports for everyone.

On the same afternoon, Tri Ton district also organized a football exchange and Pickleball competition to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025). For Pickleball, there were 32 athletes participating, from the clubs: Pickleball Tri Ton, Pickleball Ba Chuc and Pickleball Ha Tien - Ca Mau. The athletes competed in men's doubles, knockout; each match consisted of one set, the team that reached 11 points first would win. For football, there were competitions between former Tri Ton district players and former An Giang players.

Through sports tournaments, we aim to create a healthy playground, solidarity, exchange, improve health, cultural and spiritual life, and strengthen solidarity between units. At the same time, encourage cadres, civil servants and workers to strive to complete their assigned tasks well.
