Many activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lam Dong-Da Lat Liberation Day

On the afternoon of March 27, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province held a press conference to inform about the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Lam Dong - Da Lat (April 3, 1975 - April 3, 2025) and towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

A cultural and artistic program took place at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat city (Illustration photo).

This event aims to promote, introduce and advertise the potential, strengths and local cultural identity, contributing to attracting investment and creating a driving force for comprehensive development of Lam Dong province in the coming time.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 50th Anniversary of Lam Dong-Da Lat Liberation Day not only shows respect and gratitude for the past but also depicts the half-century journey of construction and development filled with proud emotions.

The highlight of the celebration was the elaborate and grandiose art program, with the theme “ The Southern Central Highlands celebrates the liberation day”. The art program featured famous artists such as: Dang Duong, Viet Hoan, Tran Tua, My Linh, Khanh Linh…

The art performance is a series of revolutionary songs, praising the great spring victory, praising the peaceful unified homeland, divided into 3 chapters: Great Spring Victory - Unified Country, Joyful Liberation of the Southern Central Highlands, New Day of Lam Dong. The programs are interspersed with video clips and beautiful images about the struggle of the Vietnamese people in the resistance war against the US to save the country; images of Lam Dong-Da Lat and the achievements of economic and social development after 50 years of liberating the homeland and unifying the country.

The program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Lam Dong-Da Lat (April 3, 1975 - April 3, 2025) and towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) will take place at 8:00 p.m., April 3, 2025, at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat city.

The 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Lam Dong-Da Lat also included activities such as: visiting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the Armed Forces, families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services and veteran revolutionaries; meeting former leaders of the province; paying respects to Heroes and Martyrs at the Martyrs Cemetery of Da Lat city...

In addition, in districts and cities in Lam Dong province, a number of other response programs also took place.
