Technical opening of Quang Da bridge project and approach road

Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council Tran Xuan Vinh; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam Province Le Tri Thanh.

Quang Da Bridge and approach road project is built in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city and Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province to connect traffic between Hoa Vang district and Dien Ban town; gradually complete the traffic network and promote socio-economic development in the region.

The project has a total investment of more than 274 billion VND. The total length of the road and bridge is 1,408 meters; of which the bridge is 204 meters long; the approach roads on both sides of the bridge are 1,204 meters long.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh said that the Quang Da Bridge project and the approach road will start construction in December 2023 from the budgets of the two localities. This is a project of important political and social significance, a symbol of solidarity between Da Nang and Quang Nam.

According to Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, during the project implementation process, many difficulties were encountered, from terrain and weather conditions to technical challenges.

“However, with a high sense of responsibility, close direction from leaders at all levels, determination from the construction unit and support from the people, after more than 15 months, the project was completed on schedule, ensuring quality, safety and meeting the conditions for traffic opening on the entire route,” said Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh.

On behalf of the city's leaders, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh respectfully acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the efforts of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works in Da Nang, together with relevant departments, branches, design consultants, and contractors who have organized the construction of the project to ensure progress and safety.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee also expressed his thanks for the active cooperation of the local Party Committee and authorities during the construction process. At the same time, he thanked the sharing and sympathy of the households and units adjacent to the project who have suffered the impact, inconvenience, and difficulties in living, traveling, and doing business during the past time so that the project could be completed, bringing common benefits to the community.

The project has important political and social significance, and is a symbol of solidarity between Da Nang and Quang Nam .

For the project to be truly effective, we need to continue to pay attention to the maintenance, repair, and connection of the expanded National Highway 14B to ensure long-term safety and sustainability. The city leaders request the Department of Construction, the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works in Da Nang and contractors to urgently review and organize the completion of the remaining auxiliary items, hand over the project to put into operation, exploitation, and serve the people to travel conveniently and safely.

Departments, branches and localities organize the reception and assign functional units to organize management, exploitation and implementation of operation, maintenance and repair of construction systems and landscapes so that the works can be exploited effectively and safely.
