Reporting at the working session on the implementation results of Notice No. 1409-TB/TU dated March 26, 2024 of the Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee announcing the concluding opinion of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council at the working session with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union in 2024, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Trieu Tien Trinh said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union directed all levels of the Youth Union to carry out political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education for union members and young people in many diverse and rich forms, attracting a large number of cadres and young union members to participate; maintain the effectiveness of the team of collaborators of Steering Committee 35 and the team of reporters and collaborators of social opinion at all levels of the Youth Union; effectively promote the Young Theory Clubs at all levels.

In recent years, the Youth Union of Bac Kan province has played an important role in the socio-economic development of the province. With a large and dynamic youth union, the movements and activities of the Union have contributed significantly to the development of economic and social fields, environmental protection, and improvement of material and spiritual life for the community. Currently, the province maintains 80 cooperatives, 46 youth cooperative groups, more than 500 youth economic development models and 72 OCOP products owned by youth.

Actively participating in the cause of national defense - security, protecting the Fatherland in the new situation, the Youth Union of Bac Kan province has demonstrated the pioneering role and responsibility of the youth for the cause of protecting the Fatherland. The Youth Union at all levels has coordinated to mobilize young union members to join the army to meet the annual military enlistment target; built and effectively maintained 108 models of "Youth self-management routes for security and order"; "Neighborhoods without youths with social evils"...

Participating in Party and political system building, the Youth Union chapters at all levels coordinate with local authorities at the same level to organize dialogues with union members and young people to exchange, listen to their thoughts and aspirations and resolve their recommendations and proposals according to regulations; coordinate with the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to participate in social criticism on draft legal documents and policies for youth and children and supervise the implementation of legal policies for union officials and young people. In 2024, the Youth Union chapters at all levels will introduce 1,700 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission, of which 603 outstanding union members will be admitted to the Party...

With a pioneering, creative and dynamic role, the Provincial Youth Union has actively participated in implementing National Target Programs, contributing to the realization of the socio-economic development goals of the country and locality.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to give instructions on the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee and to appoint temporary key positions of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee so that the organization of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee can be ensured in accordance with current regulations and soon stabilized; the People's Committee of Bac Kan City continues to pay attention, coordinate to consider and thoroughly handle the resettlement support for households related to the land of the Youth Activity Center. Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Duy Chinh acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the achievements of the Provincial Youth Union in the past time. He suggested that in the coming time, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province should absorb the comments and suggestions at the meeting; continue to well organize the implementation of the tasks set out in the Resolutions of the Youth Union Congresses at all levels; promote the pioneering role of young people in actively participating in the socio-economic development of the locality, focusing on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, actively developing the economy so that the province can achieve double-digit growth, prepare for Party congresses at all levels, and reorganize the apparatus.

The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed the role of the Youth Union through the periods and emphasized that in the coming time, the Bac Kan Youth Union needs to continue to promote the tradition of the Youth Union; innovate both thinking and leadership methods, and change the method of organizing activities to suit the new situation.

Sharing the concerns and pressures in work and life of cadres and youth union members, the Provincial Party Secretary was concerned about the reality of young people working far away from home, which poses many challenges in terms of lack of local production labor, lack of sources for Party membership and many other social issues. Faced with this situation, the Youth Union at all levels should focus on researching and creating jobs on the spot for youth union members; continue to do a good job of political and ideological education so that youth union members have confidence in the leadership of the Party and State, promote studying and following the moral example and style of Ho Chi Minh, following the example of previous generations in studying, working and working; promote the spirit of vanguard, proactively approaching, studying, researching science, innovating and digitalizing; focus on propaganda so that young people have a healthy lifestyle, actively participate in cultural activities, sports, promote the cultural values ​​of the nation and locality; Launch and implement the tasks set out in the Resolution of the 12th Provincial Party Congress in accordance with the Youth Union organization with effective implementation measures; pay attention to improving the quality of Youth Union cadres; proactively advise the Party Committee and the government on youth work; volunteer to take on difficult tasks, act creatively and decisively.
